Security Camera Drive Home Computers

I purchased this NVR for a simple two camera security system on my home. I bought a separate hard drive, which gave me twice the recording capacity for the same price as one that came pre-installed. Installation was easy, thanks to videos on YouTube. It came with the necessary connectors to install the hard drive. I installed the NVR , along with my cable modern and wifi router, in a pantry and it works fine. It is plugged into a good quality surge protector. It make a bit more noise that I expected, but it is not bothersome. Hopefully it will provide years of service.

Replaced a home camera security system that’s been running continuously since 2014. The hard drive in that system was a western digital purple drive. Unquestionable reliability is the reason another WD Purple drive was purchased for the new system.

I just bought this WiFi and so far I love it. It helps with internet consistency throughout my home with all of my televisions, computers, home security and other equipment. Very helpful for those working from home to optimize internet performance.

I can't say enough about the affordability of these cases and the security that everything inside (computers, routers, camera gear, etc.) will survive anything UPS, FedEX or USPS can throw at them. Best investment I've made in cases ever.

I bought this drive to back up for my home computers along with another drive I already own (Also WD). I love the USB 3 Speed and the size is great for the money. *Note* This particular version came formatted for Windows, but only took a minute to google and universally format before use with no issues.

I now own 5 of these camera. I have had excellent satisfaction from all. I use them for wildlife viewing and home security.

WD Hard Drive Purple installed in a DVR for home security, HD working very cool and with 8 cameras HD 720p & 1080p give me 7 days of continuos recording, very reliable and quiet. Recommended.

I only had 1 TB hard drive in my 4K home security system and would only get about a day worth of replay. With this new additional 10 TB I have 9 days and counting since I installed. Mount the sensors, open the ecobee app on your phone, step through adding the new device, and the security bundle was up and running in a couple of minutes. One of the things I like about ecobee products is they appeal to a wide range of Users. You can keep it very simple, or you can integrate their devices into a larger ecosystem for home automation. I also purchased the SmartCamera as part of the ecobee as part of the Home Security Bundle. And I already have an ecobee Smart Thermostat with Voice Control. These devices integrate through the ecobee App to create a very simple to use home security network for added peace of mind. And the Autopilot feature automatically takes care of turning on/off the security system and setting the thermostat to home/away as you come and go from your home. What a simple but effective design.
