Security features are amazing, the compatibility is a great feature, and the connectivity to the Wi-Fi is a little iffy but I can deal with it. I like the fact that I can lock and unlock my door right on my phone whether I'm home or 30,000 miles away

Simple installation. If you have Xfinity Advanced Security, turn it off using their app before adding the cameras to your wifi network, then turn the security back on. Love the automatic tracking feature with using either the motion or human detection. Have one installed in a detached structure with no HVAC System here in Michigan with no temperature related issues. Cameras also work very well viewing out the window.

I attended a Panasonic cinematographers round table in Hollywood that tipped me over the edge on this camera. That, along with the significant price cut. Was previously considering the UMP and C200.  The EVA1 is a versatile camera that suits my documentary style of shooting well. Pairs great with Lumix GH cameras for B and C cams. So far it has been a workhorse on two docs, and a reality show. Definitely recommend the Zacuto Z-Finder, as the comments are true, the LCD screen is pretty much useless in direct sunlight. Will likely pick up a Shogun next to take advantage of the 5.7K for commercial and narrative work.

I’ve known this company for awhile, think hooked up after a Camera company in Hollywood that I frequented went bankrupt. Or maybe I found in the old days working IT. Regarding the product, as advertised & most grateful for the CC subscription. Will consider the company for future electronics 1st before even considering Amazon.
