Security Camera Leads

I use my Canon 7D mainly for video, and I do not like having a strap on the camera when shooting video. However I've been getting into photography more and more and realize a strap is very convenient. The problem is how long it takes to add or remove the OEM strap. Very frustrating. I know there are a lot of options which use the 1/4-20 tripod mount of the camera, but that is a non-starter for me because I almost always have a manfrotto tripod quick release plate on my camera, so I needed something that would work quick and attach to the strap mounts. Also, I use my camera in a steadi-cam type rig quite often, and it was easy to balance the camera with the two short leads which stay on the camera... now I can just quickly disconnect the strap, put it on my rig and begin flying the camera immediately. Speaking of the quick connect leads, they were very smart in making one male and one female so there is no confusion which lead connects to which buckle on the strap. I like how the sling allows me to hang my camera at my side/hip rather than on my stomach... this feels much more comfortable and quicker to reach for me. I also like how I can choose to connect one or both of the quick connects to the camera. I usually connect just one which allows the camera to hang more comfortably at my side. Finally, I like how the stopper clip on the strap allows me to customize how far up or down the camera will slide when hanging on the strap. I do wish it had come with another stopper clip for the second lead, but I'm pretty sure I can add one myself. This is very comfortable, quite flexible to set up for your own particular preferences, and I believe it's a great price.

Getting the big for Wildlife photography is something that leads to acquiring expensive camera, lenses, flash and other accessories. It was nice to find something that added a ton of return on a small investment. If you are into wildlife, or looking to use a 300+ focal length for scenery, and have a flash (specifically the 430EX II in this case), this is well worth the money. It gives that extra kick of light to fill in the shadows on days of flat or contrasty lighting. Used best when you are in Av mode, it helps balance out the scene. Less useful when you are trying to grab animals in motion as it may not keep up depending on your battery situation with the flash.

Got to where a backpack got computer items and another for camera gear was just too much. Modifying each leads to a great consolidation into this piece. One minor critique is the pocket for the notebook and accessories doesn’t open very far. Another 1:2 in or so in each side would be big improvement

Bought this webcam for my wife for some training meetings she leads on Zoom and Googlemeet to place on an extended monitor she uses in her meetings. I was reluctant to purchase such a cheap camera but her company did not give her much of a budget. Video is much better than her Mac camera and she can look at the at the screen that her audience is on while looking at the camera. It was very easy to connect and set as primary for her training meetings without breaking the budget.

The mounting base works great if you need to coil the camera leads if you can't pass the weather proof connector through the wall.
