Security Camera Recording Time

Have used Seagate for several years with no problems in NVR's for security camera recording. Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quite reliable. I have used it on security camera with loop recording and it has been working quite well.

I installed 3 large disks, 2 x 18 TB and 1 x 24 TB, for use 24/7 recording security camera footage. Connected via USB-C to a new computer with an Intel i7-14700 CPU. Each disk is recording 4-5 MB per second.  Disk installation was easy. No noticeable fan noise. No need or desire for any RAID setup - running as JBODs. Wanted 5 bays for future expansion. No problems or hiccups so far.

I'm using the StudioRAID in a RAID 1 configuration recording security camera videos on a Windows PC. Setup was easy. It's recording multiple cameras 24x7 so it works hard and performs well. I like that there is no power brick. My only complaint is that it is noisy. It's the hard drives, not the fan. I've noticed this with other Glyph arrays. Usually it's not a problem as they are a server room or space that is already noisy.

This cuff is on my camera all the time. Even when I use the strap, I still keep this on the camera just for the extra security. When I first got it, I feel that the cuff is slightly wider than expected and feels weird when using it. But after a few days of use, I can say that this is the most comfortable cuff that I ever own. I use it in the rain. I use it in the snow. I use it even in the ocean (not recommended because it takes some work to wash off the seawater). It is easy to switch between the cameras. The only downside is that it is not for the compact camera with a small strap hole because the loop on the anchor is too thick to get into the small space.

Great price on a solid security camera. I am very happy with my Lorex - Indoor 1080p Wi-Fi Network Security Camera. The product comes with everything you need in the box and the on-line setup and app worked first time out! I was able to register the device, do a firmware update and connect to my Wi-Fi without any issues. I was able to go from box to fully functioning in about 15 minutes! The device offers high definition, wide-angle video that you can view in real time in the app AND record to an internal (provided) memory card that is expandable. This is great because it means you don't have to buy an expensive monitoring service in order to use the camera. The body is made out of high impact plastic and can be mounted in a variety of ways. All of the hardware you need for that is included. You also get two vinyl stickers for your windows to warn the bad guys that you have video surveillance deployed. You should be aware of a couple of things - the provided power cable is generous but still limits how far you can place the camera from an outlet. Also, if you enable the motion auto-detect capability the app can flood your phone with notifications if anything moves. This can be easily disabled but be aware that the default is to have it on. Overall the folks at Lorex have created a very good security solution at an excellent price.

I have the Peak Design Clutch on all my cameras as they are easy to use. I have a strap for all my camera but take them off most of the time. I love the security of having the clutch and love Peak Design disc system.

I was always finding myself taking my neck strap and wrapping it around my wrist, because I never did like to hang my camera around my neck much. I came across this product and decided I would give it a try knowing that I wanted to toss the neck strap but still have some added security measures. Well, this is just what I was looking for. The strap fits snugly around my wrist giving me ease that the camera will not accidently fall out of my hands. It has a quick release so if I don't want it on the camera I can just leave the front portion attached so I don't have to go through the hassle of taking it out of the camera strap loops all the time. I've worn this for hours at a time and never felt uncomfortable with it on. I highly reccommend this product for people that do not want an entire neck strap, but still want security.

I was trying to send our security camera feed to multiple monitors throughout our church facility. The feed output is HDMI so I have to convert it to SDI to cover long distances. I have been using Blackmagic Design products for years and have had good success most of the time. But this time the BMD converters could not produce what I needed. I tried the Decimator and it worked perfectly.
