Security Cameras Wireless On My Existing Wifi Network

Purchased this to use as a wireless uplink for some cameras. Setup was a breeze with our existing unifi network. No issues as all.

I have a large first generation Google Wifi network at home. With several 1st gen Google Wifi hooked up to the main router via Ethernet, and two 1st gen Google Wifi operating in wireless mesh-mode. I used this (2nd gen) Google Nest Wifi Router and Point to extend my network, by hard-wiring the router to extend my existing network, and running the Point as a mesh extension. Works well together with my existing network and allows me to roam around the house with my devices.

This is the 2nd one purchased to add to an existing WiFi network. These access points were really designed for commercial use but for large homes or mansions, they provide the perfect solution for a great WiFi experience. Mounted on a ceiling, this unit looks like a smoke detector, and require no separate power wiring since they are powered by Power Over Ethernet (POE) with the included POE Injector. WiFi coverage is excellent even on the AC band. All optioning is done via the Ubiquiti app downloaded to a PC. An outstanding product.

I've recently upgraded my home network to using the CM1000 and a security/WiFi appliance. The CM1000 is a real trooper, very reliable and has delivered 1Gb speeds as advertised. It was very simple to setup with my cable provider and works like a charm! Great product and company!

Product was easy to set up. This was a replacement for an existing wireless network; the network set up was working internally right out of the box but I had no internet access; there was some trouble with my modem recognizing the new router. ASUS tech support was easily reached (on hold 2-3 minutes or so), and the tech was well-drilled in troubleshooting procedures. They correctly determined the issue with my modem and recommended steps that fixed the problem. Love the Powerline connection between the two units! Great range, even reaches outdoors.

We use this product to hold up the household network router and the wireless security system. With the recent earthquakes in California that could be felt in Las Vegas, we were glad to have the ability to know that our security system would be working even if the utility power was interrupted. This is a great product that is produced by a great company.

I needed to connect an outdoor wireless security camera to Wifi but the signal on the main router wasn't strong enough to penetrate a thick masonry wall. The TP-link solved this problem. I set it up inside at the wall needing signal penetration but in line with the router. It worked perfectly - having a booster closer to the camera did the trick.

i needed up update our wifi for both speed and security. whether with an AC plug or POE, these wireless systems just work great. but then i expect that from netgear.

I needed to power 2 Trendnet security cameras and connect them and a PC to a network. Accommodated all perfectly and easily.
