No issues so far. Not particularly fast, but this is expected from a USB powered external drive.

We are using a flash drive to store and playback videos on a portable projector. I tried with a USB 3.0 Flash Drive, thinking the newer version was better. But the projector had a different idea. I learned from the professionals at B+H that this unit requires an older USB 2.0 Flash Drive. I never would have thought of that but sure enough, when I used this Verbatim 64G Ergo USB 2.0, the projector recognized the videos and played them flawlessly.

These are great addition to my home studio. Self-powered with plenty of fine-tuning controls on board. Very accurate sound for music mixing and listening.

It is a nicely sized 1 terabyte drive that is powered off of the USB port. I have purchased a few of these as they are economical.

I use this thing everywhere there is a USB powered plug.

With the small footprint of USB powered drive, it brings 5TB capacity with affordable price. This is just right for backups. It is 5400 drive, do not expect 7200 speed or SSD for raw video editing application.

I wanted a large USB powered drive to connect to my Airport Extreme for Time Machine backups. After a quick reformat, I connected it and it worked without hassle. Hopefully it will function for a long time.

I wanted a solution to drive powered monitors from our iMac, that both avoided the noisy unbalanced line out, and didn't require being tethered to my FireWire audio interface. I also didn't want another device with inputs (likely inferior to my rack-mount firewire interface.) This Peavey USB-P box is perfect. As you'd expect being balanced, noise isn't an issue. It's built like a little tank. No driver installation was required on OS X. It does exactly what it claims to perfectly, with no useless frills. The only thing to be aware of: no USB cable is included. This is pretty normal, but it might catch some folks off guard.
