I do professional videography but I started out years ago shooting on a Pentax K1000 film camera. I bought the a6000 primarily for shooting video with a large sensor camera. This camera is fantastic. At around $500 there is nothing that comes close in features and it has a aps C sensor which is found in 90% of all dslr and mirrorless cameras. I’ve seen canon 1” sensor point ant shoot cameras for hundreds more. I shoot low light wedding videos on this camera and the video looks fantastic. It also shoots video in Sony’s xavc 50 mbps format which is found on Sony cameras and pro camcorders costing thousands more. This small camera is a beast!

After a long break from using professional, or semi-professional, cameras. I finally decided to get the T2i with the kit lens. I definitely love it! I wouldn't buy any other entry level DSLRs. the only feature I would like from the T3i is the flip screen, other than that I don't see any reason to spend the extra money. Just watch a few videos online about it and you'll be convinced.

I am a semi-professional photographer. By that I work a normal job and get photography jobs randomly. One of my regularly scheduled events is a conference 3 times a year that requires me to move around a large arena quickly, with heavier lenses, but without distracting the audience if at all possible. For years I strapped on two cameras with their own straps and it was just incredibly difficulty and strenuous on my neck. A year ago I started using the Money Maker by Holdfast gear and the difference was night and day. I can carry two cameras for 3-4 hours at a time and never feel fatigued. As well, I usually have a monopod on one of my lenses and the cameras hang where it doesn't bang around or hit others. As a female photographer, I can't imagine doing multi-camera shoots without it. i am very impressed with this camera. i work with many professional cameras, and HD equipment and this camera's quality over exceeds it's price. i would recommend this with no reservations! there aren't many settings, but in most cases that is a big positive for a consumer level HD camera. this makes my personal HD video collection so easy and fun.

This is THE camera for semi-pro videography, travel, and street photograpghy enthusiasts. Silent mode, matte black finish, excellent build quality and endless fast and light lens options are all packaged into a deflated DSLR. Videographers will love this camera for A+ video quality (4K) and Photograpghers will love this camera A- image quality. (The only way to get A+ image quality is to drop thousand(s) of dollards and have really good eyes! Also don't let internet photo geeks tell you that this camera cannot produce the bokeh of full frame- because the bokeh is brilliant with panasonics new 25mm 1.7 and even the 14mm 2.5. I've taken 35,000 shots with this camera and if good results are not made, then the problem exists within the space between the finder and the air behind you. The Panasonic G7 is all about quality and not quantity.
