Sennheiser 598 Bluetooth Adapter

Works great with my HF G20 and a Takstar SGC-598 microphone

Bought this setup with Sennheiser mic and Bluetooth. Durable. Easy. Clear sound. I use it for speaking events. Bt connector charges in chargeable amp body. This is a well designed and made product. Not to be compared to cheap karaoke setups fr big box stores.

I need a Bluetooth transmitter so I can watch my shows at night without disturbing anyone. This device bears the Sennheiser label and while likely not actually manufactured by the famous German pro-audio company, it is still a reassuring logo, and so far it is living up to it. It will accept either digital input (via standard Toslink - cable included) or analog (via stereo 3.5 mm mini plug (also included). Also included is a USB power cable, but not the wall wart power supply (you've got plenty of them around by now.) Installation is easy, once you determine which audio output from your source is appropriate. This might be easier if you use the analog option, which might require a 1/4 to mini adapter to use the headphone output on many home systems. Bluetooth synced up to my headphones seamlessly and all is well. My own installation was a bit more complicated because I'm using an HDMI Audio Extractor box for the source. (Not made by Sennheiser.) Sound quality seems quite good through my Bose Bluetooth headphones; there is plenty of level available. When using a device like this there will always be latency as the sound is converted to Bluetooth. It is perceivable but if you can deal with lip sync that is a little rubbery it is acceptable - and unavoidable. Just be sure the loudspeakers are off. So far, with only about an hour of use, this is a product I would recommend.

You may want to consider a Bluetooth adapter for your headphones rather than this. They are harder to loose and more convenient.

Very useful adapter for laptop w/o Bluetooth. Easy to install, and works great.

this is a threaded/screw adapter, a perfect replacement for Sennheiser, German Maestro, Sony... headphones.

I bought the K&M 210/9 Tripod Microphone Stand with Telescoping Boom to use with my Sennheiser MKE 600 without realizing the end of the mic stand was a different thread system than the 1/4" thread I was expecting. This adapter worked perfectly and allowed me to mount my Sennheiser MKE 600 onto the mic stand. Bottom line: YES, if you need an adapter, this one works great!

This works with my Sennheiser G3 ew100 as a replacement to the one that came with it.This balanced cable wont work when plugged straight into a y adapter for putting two inputs together, separated by Left and Right. It requires a mono to mono 1/8 inch female to 1/8 inch male to separate the out of phase signal. I found the right adapter at @.

When I bought my Rode news shooter kit I was distressed to discover that the receiver only came with a 3.5mm connector and not XLR. While I tried buying Rode's mini to XLR adapter, under even a little strain the wire pulls out of the adapter. I was going to buy a Sennheiser locking 3.5mm to XLR cable, until I saw this one as a similar item on B & H's website. I have Kopul XLR cables, so I knew they make quality cables and ordered one for significantly less than a comparable Sony or Sennheiser cable. The cable locks in perfectly at both ends (just as if Rode had made it themselves) and the all black housing actually goes better with the Rode receiver than the black/silver housing offered by more expensive alternatives. I'm very happy that I saw this as it works great and came at a great price!

In the tradition of Sennheiser's audiophile headphones, these phones deliver transparent clean sound, without undue coloration. They are comfortable for extended wear. My only minor complaint is that the cord ends in an 1/8 inch plug, with a 1/4 inch adapter attached. I'd prefer the main plug to be 1/4 inch to plug into mixing consoles without the adapter. I guess they are just responding to the current market of people who want to use these phones with a tablet or computer instead of pro audio equipment.
