Sennheiser Bt T100 Bluetooth Tv Audio Transmitter

Bought these last minute to use with my Sony Fx6. I found them to be much more straight forward than my old Sennheiser EW 100 ENG G3 kits, that always got hits while I was in the middle of recording. I love their simplicity, I love that you can have two transmitters with one receiver. NOTE you must buy the Sony SMAD-P5 Digital MI Shoe Adapter for UWP-D if you want to utilize the transmitter and your hot shoe feature on your Sony Camera! This adaptor makes it so your Sony camera not only powers the transmitter, but it lets your camera access the audio, so you don't need to run an 1/8 inch cable from your transmitter to your XLR inputs on your camera. It's amazing, truly treamlines audio on your Sony camera! 5 |

When teamed with a BlueSENSE Bluetooth audio transmitter, I've got great sound anywhere in my house. Easy to set up and great sound with my Yamaha receiver and CD player! 5 |

I need a Bluetooth transmitter so I can watch my shows at night without disturbing anyone. This device bears the Sennheiser label and while likely not actually manufactured by the famous German pro-audio company, it is still a reassuring logo, and so far it is living up to it. It will accept either digital input (via standard Toslink - cable included) or analog (via stereo 3.5 mm mini plug (also included). Also included is a USB power cable, but not the wall wart power supply (you've got plenty of them around by now.) Installation is easy, once you determine which audio output from your source is appropriate. This might be easier if you use the analog option, which might require a 1/4 to mini adapter to use the headphone output on many home systems. Bluetooth synced up to my headphones seamlessly and all is well. My own installation was a bit more complicated because I'm using an HDMI Audio Extractor box for the source. (Not made by Sennheiser.) Sound quality seems quite good through my Bose Bluetooth headphones; there is plenty of level available. When using a device like this there will always be latency as the sound is converted to Bluetooth. It is perceivable but if you can deal with lip sync that is a little rubbery it is acceptable - and unavoidable. Just be sure the loudspeakers are off. So far, with only about an hour of use, this is a product I would recommend. 5 |

I use the Aluratek ABC02F Universal Bluetooth Audio Receiver and Transmitter connected to the Optical Audio output on my Sony TV. It pairs with a set of Sony Bluetooth earbuds to provide a separate channel for audio for my aging ears while the TV's audio continues to function independently for the rest of the family. The optical connection to the TV was simple and the ABC02F paired quickly and easily to the Sony Earbuds. The ABC02F is plugged into a USB port on the TV and is always on so the earbuds are reconnected within the time it takes to remove them from their charger/case and insert them into the ear. 5 |

I needed a quality audio switch to switch between the audio output of a CD player and the audio output of my TV into a transmitter for my headphones. Being small and lightweight, I just used some velcroe to attach the switch to the topside panel of my entertainment cabinet where its convenient and hardly noticeable. Keeps all those audio cables out of the way too. 5 |

Pros: - Sound is more refined - Bluetooth 5 gives me the 8-12’ of extra distance from devices that I needed. - Connecting to the TV and iPhone at the same time is very useful. Whichever device is sending audio gets auto-selected. Better auto-connection to devices when first turned on. - Noise Cancelling is ~20-30% better with a side to side comparison. - Can be listening to TV and get a phone call from 2nd device. CONS: - Battery seems to fade faster (~10-15% faster than XM3) but probably due to the 2 added mics, extra bluetooth signal, bluetooth strength, and deeper, fuller sound quality. - Even with the new superior Bluetooth 5, some TVs (ex. 2015 Samsung LED) have continual audio glitches. (Not the headphones fault but rather a Samsung problem that may occur on other TVs as well). Love the updated XM4s and can’t wait to see the XM5s improve on the battery. Perhaps offer a second upgrade padding for we people with big heads and big ears. 5 |

I like the zero latency with which I can listen to audio from the movie playing on my big screen TV over Bluetooth, and I certainly appreciate the longevity of the battery. I hang them up on the lamp on my bed stand overnight so they are easy to find in the morning 5 |

I bought the Alluratek to connect Bluetooth head phones and an audio amplifier to a TV that has only one optical audio port. The amplifier connection is through an external Bluetooth receiver. I havent used the Alluratek for connecting two receivers simultaneously. 5 |
