Sennheiser Cx 150 Headphones Review

I am blown away by how these $150 headphones from a brand I never gave much thought to sound better than my old music setup of Sennheiser HD660S phones, Schiit headphone amp, and Schiit discrete DAC. These headphones have already saved me two outlets and like 50 cables. Music sounds full and very detailed, and everything from The Beatles to deathcore to trance sounds amazing. I am most blown away by how premium the build quality is, though! Very comfortable and just feels sturdy. Sennheisers tend to really clamp on your head and are usually all plastic and light. I also appreciate the cable terminating in a standard 3.5mm plug instead of having to use one of Sennheiser's silly and unwieldy adapters. The braided cable is very nice, as well.

The SENNHEISER IE 4 earphones give great Bass.The sound is clear and crisp.I bought these buds for my COWON D2.I also tried CX 300 but specially Bass is better than CX 300.Also Mids and Treble.For this price you can buy another brand isolation earbuds they may be more successful on isolating but i can say that sound that Sennheiser IE 4 give is better than the phones in this price range. It has microdrive not diaphragm so this is an advantage.One con is sound isolating but it is more important that an earphone gives rich sound. Problems Encountered: No problems... As an audiophile and an owner of some of the best headphones from Sennheiser and others, I must say that the AirPods Max Headphones are excellent - - in fact they are terrific. The sound quality is superb and the headphones are extremely comfortable. This product gets my highest rating of 5/5.

This would be the Illmatic of Headphones for DJs. Sennheiser kept If it ain't broke, don't try fix it. Many user replaceable parts. Light weights construction for hours of use without fatigue. I believe 2024 marks the 35 years anniversary of this headphones. As glasses wearer, on-ear nature of this headphones works wonder. Since nothing existed in this world is perfect, here are few cons; little thin and easy to get tangled straight cable, coiled cable is also nice to have but little to heavy and long for my taste. Although included Pleather pads are comfy, and gets worn out rather quick. Invest in velour pads like ones from DT770.

I use it to keep my CX-470 tripod in. It does the job perfect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upgraded from an LG CX. CX still great but this is a definite upgrade. Almost too bright. Colors much more vivid and pop out of the screen.

I've always gone for inexpensive headphones and  was ok with that, until I tried on the Sennheiser HD280 & realized I deserved a great pair of headphones that had great sound and kept out all the room noise around me. ... Been using them mostly on my computer to edit video with, and a couple times for recording interviews... ... They're very comfortable, sound is great.. but have to remember to take them off occassionaly to let my ears breath...   Did you know ears can sweat ?
