Sennheiser Ew100 G3

It easily fits two ew100 G3 Sennheiser lavs and cables; due to its long and skinny form factor, it fits perfectly in the bag for my field mixer.

This works with my Sennheiser G3 ew100 as a replacement to the one that came with it.This balanced cable wont work when plugged straight into a y adapter for putting two inputs together, separated by Left and Right. It requires a mono to mono 1/8 inch female to 1/8 inch male to separate the out of phase signal. I found the right adapter at @.

Used it with the Sennheiser ew100 G3 and it was excellent outside. Low roll off killed wind noise and extraneous sound from nearby equipment was minimal while picking up the interviewee's voice cleanly. Would highly recommend this mic.

Bigger than what comes with Sennheiser G3, but that's what makes it effective.

Had the EW100 G3 setup for years.... Now I switched to the AVX... So simple to set up and much more of a reliable connection between transmitter and receiver. I have had over the years the G3 give me swooshes of static during interviews when I was just 3 feet away from the receiver. A few times I had to reshoot the interview because of this. BUT with the AVX the audio is crisp, never any analog static like with the G3. Another plus to the AVX, is the size of the receiver. I was able to take off a bracket holding my G3 receiver as it wasn't needed with the AVX setup. The receiver is small, plugs right into the XLR port and is self contained. Now wires or bulky receiver anymore with the AVX. I've been waiting for a receiver like this for years!.. Thanks B&H and Senheisser!

Im frustrated that I had to buy a new wireless lav system while my old ew100 G3 system still worked just fine but the FCC sold off the bandwidth. I upgraded to the G4 and am very happy with it so far.

We used this microphone with the Seinheiser EW100 G3 wireless body pack and Receiver. The audio quality is amazing. The clarity and natural sound will make this microphone your default preference.

I decided to upgrade my mics that came with the Sennheiser EW100's and did a bunch of research. Came across a few people that raved about this mic and I can see why. (OK...HEAR why!) Much more natural/flat sound than the stock mic and cable is more robust. Being an omni it works no matter which direction it's pointed. I'm a little let down by the variety...or lack of variety of mounting accessories but the sound quality more than makes up the difference. It's it a little on the large side too. Important...it is MUCH hotter than the stock mic and you must turn down the gain at the transmitter.

I purchased this mic to replace a original Sennheiser mic that came with my ew100 G2 wireless transmitter. The mic works great. I have used it on several assignments and have no problems. Works as the original, but smaller and more compact. I recommend this mic as a second or replacement.

Great microphone for only $. I bought this to use as a wireless mic with my Sennheiser ew100 ENG G2 on-camera mounting system. It's easy to use and provides great audio quality. I just plug my Plug-in transmitter (that comes with the Sennheiser system mentioned earlier) and bam I now have a wireless mic. The transmitter powers the mic, it's a great set up. If you have the Sennheiser ew100 ENG G2 wireless mic system and you want a wireless handheld mic to go with it, buy this mic instead of the SKM100 Wireless mic going for $329. It does the same job and gives just as good sound for a fraction of the cost. A wedding videographers must have!Bob
