I replaced the cracking headband on my HD 280 Pro headphones with this one from Sennheiser. It's a perfect fit and easy to install (package has instructions). 5 |

Driving three Sennheiser headphones (2x HD 212 Pro and 1x HD 280 Pro) at the same time - from a 302 mixer by SD - never went above a 9 o'clock setting on the output controls. The XLR line inputs are great! The options of 3.5mm or 1/4 input (headphone-wise) makes it very flexible. The battery life is excellent: 4 days in a row of continuous location shooting before having to change them. Can't beat that! ...and there is lots of Ooomph on all outputs 5 |

While this replacement part is advertised by Sennheiser as only for the newer version of Sennheiser HD 280 Pro released since 2016, it fit great my older Sennheiser HD 280 Pro headphones bought around 2013. It doesn't seem like the replacement part for pre-2016 headphones is readily available, so I'd say just go with this. There are off-brand replacement pads available online, but I question their quality - the original pads served me well so I hope these original Sennheiser ones will too. 5 |

Unlike other ear pads that I was considering for my Sennheiser HD 280 Headphones, these Auray ear pads were fairly easy to install since the material that attaches to the headphone is a little stretchy. The stock ear pads from Sennheiser are probably more difficult to install since they are less stretchy. The leather seems to be of good quality and feels good. The level of sound isolation is at least as good as the original ear pads. 5 |

I use headphones to listen to TV or music while I work on my computer, and the Sennheiser HD 280 Pro have great sound reproduction, along with passive noise cancelling to block out external sounds like noisy neighbors. I've worn out a couple of these headphones because I wear them a lot, and the sound quality is very satisfying. 5 |

My new Sennheiser HD 280 headphones are great! They are a quality product, very comfortable, and have great sound qualities. The base is great and the price was very satisfying. 5 |

I also ordered the Sennheiser HD 280 Pro and ended up liking the Audio-Technica ATH-M30, better. 5 |

This is the second pair of Sennheiser HD 280 I owned. This cans are great for mixing any style of music, due to their flat and accurate response. Their -32db attenuation of external sound, possible by its closed design, allows you to use them in live recordings and in noisy environments. Very comfortable on large sessions. I transport them in a tupperware to keep them safe when I'm in rigs, but it will be great if they come with their own travel bag or something.Highly recommended for a low budget setup, and with the expected high quality of this brand. The only con I can find, is that when wearing them, you can be confused with an astronaut, but if you can live with that, there's no other negative side in them. 5 |

I use these Sennheiser HD 280 Pros for videography and sound editing. For the price these are one of the best. Durable and sound great. The only headphone that comes close in this price range are the Sony MDR7506s, which aren't as well constructed (though I admit are a tad more comfy) 5 |

... but these are great. I can only compare them to Sennheiser HD 280 (mine are probably 15yr old) and Sony MDR-7506 (just bought). The K371s give a slightly fuller sound compared to the 280s (expected and totally fine) and slightly more pleasant (softer) highs than the 7506s. I think all have enough detail (for my ears anyway). Having the detachable cable and not one, not two but three *different* cables included is a very nice touch. Speaking of nice, build quality and texture of materials are much better than I expected from the pictures. They are the right weight and feel perfect (meaning not slippery, snug but not tight). I'd say all three are very close but these are worth the extra $50. At the current price of $130, it's a no-brainer. 5 |
