Sennheiser Hd 700 Audiophile Studio Headphones

As an audiophile and an owner of some of the best headphones from Sennheiser and others, I must say that the AirPods Max Headphones are excellent - - in fact they are terrific. The sound quality is superb and the headphones are extremely comfortable. This product gets my highest rating of 5/5. 5 |

In the tradition of Sennheiser's audiophile headphones, these phones deliver transparent clean sound, without undue coloration. They are comfortable for extended wear. My only minor complaint is that the cord ends in an 1/8 inch plug, with a 1/4 inch adapter attached. I'd prefer the main plug to be 1/4 inch to plug into mixing consoles without the adapter. I guess they are just responding to the current market of people who want to use these phones with a tablet or computer instead of pro audio equipment. 5 |

The Sennheiser HD300 Pro headphones have the clarity and accuracy that any audiophile would opt for. In addition, the closed back design is perfect for noisy environments. They fit snugly without unnecessary compression. Dollar for dollar, they are a great value. 5 |

I spent a bit more than I usually do on the cheaper Tascam studio headphones, and so far it has been worth it and even eye-opening. I am not an audiophile but, the quality, to my ear, is amazing. I also really like the coiled cord so that I am not wrangling it at my desk or at a shoot. 5 |

I didn't know this even existed until I saw it in a B&H e-mail. It is perfect for holding my heavy Sennheiser HD 800 headphones on top of my stereo components. This stand is light, sturdy, perfectly sized, and even looks good. Highly recommended. 5 |

I replaced the cracking headband on my HD 280 Pro headphones with this one from Sennheiser. It's a perfect fit and easy to install (package has instructions). 5 |

These replaced my old Sennheiser HD 580, open back headphones. I’m a drummer and I chose them for their natural, even sound throughout the entire range. Very comfortable to wear for hours. Appreciate the 3 cables, wow! Awesome. Carry pouch is nice to have. Very pleased with them. Thank YOU! 5 |

Returned the Sennheiser HD 200 Pro Monitoring Headphones in exchange for this Tascam and the build quality is decent for the price. Great dynamic range for this price as well and bigger driver 5 |

The HD 800 S is very comfortable and feel exactly the same as the old HD 800. The sound stage and imaging are amazing (like before) and Sennheiser (finally) fixed that high peak and added a little more power to the bass. However, I feel that they are still as picky in terms of amp-pairings. Definitely do your homework on pairings (try them out at a local hi-fi store/audio meet) before dishing out for these. They may sound fine on some amps but are lackluster on others and require more power than most other headphones out there. Accessories are the usual except they now come with the balanced cable -- which used to cost $400 separately. I can't comment on the difference in sound between the unbalanced 1/4 and balanced XLR cables as I haven't spent the time to A/B test them, but it's nice of Sennheiser to include this if you ever need to switch to an amp with only balanced outputs. The included cables are a bit long if you're not in a studio, but if you have the money for this pair of headphones, you can probably afford a custom, shorter cable for portable/at-home use. 5 |

Driving three Sennheiser headphones (2x HD 212 Pro and 1x HD 280 Pro) at the same time - from a 302 mixer by SD - never went above a 9 o'clock setting on the output controls. The XLR line inputs are great! The options of 3.5mm or 1/4 input (headphone-wise) makes it very flexible. The battery life is excellent: 4 days in a row of continuous location shooting before having to change them. Can't beat that! ...and there is lots of Ooomph on all outputs 5 |
