Sennheiser Headphones Alternatives

I've used Sennheiser e835's for more than 10 years as flatter-sounding alternatives to mid-rangey SM57's and 58's. The boosted highs seem to work along with proximity effect to give a flatter more natural sound. They're just as rugged and sound great; the cardioid pattern works well at rejecting feedback (or as well as any other mic).

As an audiophile and an owner of some of the best headphones from Sennheiser and others, I must say that the AirPods Max Headphones are excellent - - in fact they are terrific. The sound quality is superb and the headphones are extremely comfortable. This product gets my highest rating of 5/5.

This would be the Illmatic of Headphones for DJs. Sennheiser kept If it ain't broke, don't try fix it. Many user replaceable parts. Light weights construction for hours of use without fatigue. I believe 2024 marks the 35 years anniversary of this headphones. As glasses wearer, on-ear nature of this headphones works wonder. Since nothing existed in this world is perfect, here are few cons; little thin and easy to get tangled straight cable, coiled cable is also nice to have but little to heavy and long for my taste. Although included Pleather pads are comfy, and gets worn out rather quick. Invest in velour pads like ones from DT770.

I use these headphones daily at work. I wear them for about 6 continual hours a day, and I can honestly say that they are not too uncomfortable. Yes, they fit tight, but that is how you get the most sound isolation. They are adjustable, though, and I'm sure the headphones need time to loosen up a little. These headphones do a pretty good job of accurately reproducing source material. Of course, there are more expensive alternatives that are hyper-accurate, but for the cost, these are quite good. You will hear things in these that you will not hear in other alternatives, like extreme low and high frequency anomalies (that you would normally not hear on inexpensive sets). They may even let you hear things you don't want to hear (like a bad mix), so be warned... Overall, I'm quite pleased with these for the cost, and in my application as a professional broadcast-audio engineer, they perform very well.

I've always gone for inexpensive headphones and  was ok with that, until I tried on the Sennheiser HD280 & realized I deserved a great pair of headphones that had great sound and kept out all the room noise around me. ... Been using them mostly on my computer to edit video with, and a couple times for recording interviews... ... They're very comfortable, sound is great.. but have to remember to take them off occassionaly to let my ears breath...   Did you know ears can sweat ?

I've used Sennheiser Wireless Headphones for years...With all the new technology, I thought it was time to upgrade...Amazing clarity and comfort...The advances in sound quality compared to my old set is very noticeable...Glad I upgraded...

All the third-party alternatives have lower capacity.

It is expensive considering the alternatives, but you get what you pay for.
