Sennheiser Headphones Cable Hd25

This would be the Illmatic of Headphones for DJs. Sennheiser kept If it ain't broke, don't try fix it. Many user replaceable parts. Light weights construction for hours of use without fatigue. I believe 2024 marks the 35 years anniversary of this headphones. As glasses wearer, on-ear nature of this headphones works wonder. Since nothing existed in this world is perfect, here are few cons; little thin and easy to get tangled straight cable, coiled cable is also nice to have but little to heavy and long for my taste. Although included Pleather pads are comfy, and gets worn out rather quick. Invest in velour pads like ones from DT770. 5 |

I've had these wonderful Sennheiser headphones longer than I can remember. Instead of having to toss them when the cable wore out, I got this replacement cable. I took a pair of pliers, carefully unplugged the old cable, and easily inserted the new connections. I had all that great sound back in a few minutes. It's a pity we have to throw things away when small bits of them wear out. Good that the Sennheiser folks design this kind of thing in their products. 5 |

For some reason, I brought a TRRS male to TRS male cable with mic (primary used for old Sennheiser HD485), and I saw this headphones in BH store, and tried it with the cable I brought, and I was surprised how good the sound even with a smartphone (I tested with few YouTube music videos). After I tried with few YouTube music videos, the store started to close, and OK, go for it and I was the last customer left with this HUGE headphones. I put it on when riding train. Sensitivity is actually enough for both music and phone call, but due to the size, it's recommended to listen it at home or office (this headphones is pretty comfortable for extended phone talking with boom mic). After I got in my friend's home, I spent a lot of time to listen to some local music made from CD in FLAC format, and I am blown away how good the sound is (it has a lot of bass but it's not muddy at all) and I like it more than Sennheiser HD598 and ESP500. I planned to buy Sennheiser HD600, but I worry sensitivity is too low for smartphone. The phone is capable with 32bit/192kHz with PowerAmp. Open Air design can let me hear anything around me. Get additional cable with TRRS male to TRS male with mic (or boom mic) and have fun with your smartphone or tablet. 5 |

I am blown away by how these $150 headphones from a brand I never gave much thought to sound better than my old music setup of Sennheiser HD660S phones, Schiit headphone amp, and Schiit discrete DAC. These headphones have already saved me two outlets and like 50 cables. Music sounds full and very detailed, and everything from The Beatles to deathcore to trance sounds amazing. I am most blown away by how premium the build quality is, though! Very comfortable and just feels sturdy. Sennheisers tend to really clamp on your head and are usually all plastic and light. I also appreciate the cable terminating in a standard 3.5mm plug instead of having to use one of Sennheiser's silly and unwieldy adapters. The braided cable is very nice, as well. 5 |

As an audiophile and an owner of some of the best headphones from Sennheiser and others, I must say that the AirPods Max Headphones are excellent - - in fact they are terrific. The sound quality is superb and the headphones are extremely comfortable. This product gets my highest rating of 5/5. 5 |

The Epson 5050UB projector is a huge improvement over my old Optoma HD25. The colors are superb, the lens shift is possibly the best feature, and it's a super quiet unit. I love this projector and the price is the best in its class and even the next one too! 5 |

I'm only starting to get into mixing techno on my Pioneer DDJ-400, and wanted something more durable than my over-ear Sony XB950BT's. The Sony's are fun sounding headphones, but I knew I needed something a little more neutral and not bass boosted. The build quality of the HD25 is most definitely plastic, but the headband and earphone hinges are durable feeling in the sense that they won't eventually snap from taking them on/off your head multiple times during a mix/set. The finish is this dark, almost matte-like low gloss - will help prevent scratches and hide wear very well. It's also a good benefit that all HD25 components can be replaced, which adds to the longevity of the product and means less wasteful consumerism by buying new, throwaway product. The sound - definitely an increase in highs and mids, with the bass not rumbly/boomy like my Sony XB950BT. The bass can get strong, but it is controlled and cleaner. I'm no audiophile, but I now understand that the type of messy, festival/rave bass isn't the right kind of bass when it comes to mixing. The HD25's also have pretty good noise isolation considering its an on-ear design. I actually wore these for about 2-3 hours today after receiving them with hardly any ear soreness. The split headband does help alleviate some of the pressure off your ears. Definitely noticed that I didn't get hot or sweat (even during this hot afternoon). An over the ear headphone would make me feel the opposite. They're very lightweight and comfortable, and adding 3rd party ear pads would only make the comfort even better. Overall, for the $99 price I got these at makes this a very good value considering how these will probably last me the next decade - a timeless and robust piece of DJ kit everyone should have. 5 |

I've always gone for inexpensive headphones and was ok with that, until I tried on the Sennheiser HD280 & realized I deserved a great pair of headphones that had great sound and kept out all the room noise around me. ... Been using them mostly on my computer to edit video with, and a couple times for recording interviews... ... They're very comfortable, sound is great.. but have to remember to take them off occassionaly to let my ears breath... Did you know ears can sweat ? 5 |
