I never intentionally abuse any of my gear, but headphones are relatively fragile, and so having just bought some nice Sennheiser (599) headphones, I thought some sort of case was in order. This case provides ample protection, and is a great value. I'd order it again, if needed. 5 |

This would be the Illmatic of Headphones for DJs. Sennheiser kept If it ain't broke, don't try fix it. Many user replaceable parts. Light weights construction for hours of use without fatigue. I believe 2024 marks the 35 years anniversary of this headphones. As glasses wearer, on-ear nature of this headphones works wonder. Since nothing existed in this world is perfect, here are few cons; little thin and easy to get tangled straight cable, coiled cable is also nice to have but little to heavy and long for my taste. Although included Pleather pads are comfy, and gets worn out rather quick. Invest in velour pads like ones from DT770. 5 |

I've always gone for inexpensive headphones and was ok with that, until I tried on the Sennheiser HD280 & realized I deserved a great pair of headphones that had great sound and kept out all the room noise around me. ... Been using them mostly on my computer to edit video with, and a couple times for recording interviews... ... They're very comfortable, sound is great.. but have to remember to take them off occassionaly to let my ears breath... Did you know ears can sweat ? 5 |
