The SENNHEISER IE 4 earphones give great Bass.The sound is clear and crisp.I bought these buds for my COWON D2.I also tried CX 300 but specially Bass is better than CX 300.Also Mids and Treble.For this price you can buy another brand isolation earbuds they may be more successful on isolating but i can say that sound that Sennheiser IE 4 give is better than the phones in this price range. It has microdrive not diaphragm so this is an advantage.One con is sound isolating but it is more important that an earphone gives rich sound. Problems Encountered: No problems... The IE 400 Pro is outstanding. They provide excellent Treble, Mid-Range & Bass. The production of Bass from these are strong, so one can feel more of the beat. They are also small, and incredibly comfortable! 5 |

I have IE SoundSports headphones but not very happy with the tips came with it as it was leaking Bass. This new tips imporved Bass performance and fit well in ear. 5 |

Excellent sound for the money. There are cheaper units out there but with this I took one earbud out and what I hear from the headphone is the same as the mains. 5 |

It's a really nice earbud. Despite some reviews, the bass performs quite good. The piece is well-constructed. At first I wasn't quite pleased with the product. It took me a few days trying to adjust the rubber earpieces to get the desired isolation and reach the audio's full potential. Once I got things right, noticed the earbud was worth the price. 5 |

Very good sounding headphone. Not for bass heads. Bass is clear, you can make out the pitch of drums and basses very well. Sounds good with a phone or laptop, much better with my expensive dac headphone amp. Big, not for portable use. Ear cups swivel to get best fit. Our heads are not perfectly square, are they? 5 |
