Because of the pandemic, I have not been able to go to the music store to listen to and purchase studio monitors. I have been doing all of my music editing using Sennheiser HD 289 Pro headphones. We use them with our E5 ear buds and a Sennheiser in-ear monitor system. These units are preferred by my band and vocal team for their superior fit. 5 |

I currently own several pairs of headphones (2 Sennheiser, 2 AKG, 1 Grado) and that doesn't include in-ear/earbuds. The ATH-M50x's are my favorite! Great sound, comfortable & easy to drive. I like that they come with 3 different cable lengths. They are over ear, meaning a little bigger, but that helps seal out external sounds. Highly recommended! 5 |

Have purchased and used many Sennheiser products through the years. The HMD-25 was great. The HMD-26 was flawed, but many issues were corrected with the HMD-26-II. The HMD-27 has the around ear style. Personal preference for the 26-II on ear style. Noise canceling is very effective. We think the 600-ohm version (vs 100-ohm) is worth it.
