Not surprisingly, Sennheiser has made a great pair of headphones. I use them for monitoring when recording and mixing, and for general use when listening to music. I love the sound quality and the flat frequency response. They're pretty darn big, which could be good or bad depending on your wants/needs. I don't mind it, and they fold up pretty compactly. Overall a great pair of phones. 5 |

This is the second pair of Sennheiser HD 280 I owned. This cans are great for mixing any style of music, due to their flat and accurate response. Their -32db attenuation of external sound, possible by its closed design, allows you to use them in live recordings and in noisy environments. Very comfortable on large sessions. I transport them in a tupperware to keep them safe when I'm in rigs, but it will be great if they come with their own travel bag or something.Highly recommended for a low budget setup, and with the expected high quality of this brand. The only con I can find, is that when wearing them, you can be confused with an astronaut, but if you can live with that, there's no other negative side in them. 5 |

My first step into the world of pro monitors and these things sound fantastic! I've mainly been mixing with my Sennheiser HD650s and these feel like a worthy counterpart for my sessions. Still getting acquainted to the nuances of these but the sound that comes out them is terrific. Great bass response and clean mids and highs. At this price point, I can't imagine anyone being disappointed with these! 5 |

I use this stand with two adapters to elevate my ENG Sennheiser Lav Mics when mixing the sound for wedding ceremonies. Since using this stand and elevating the recivers over 10 feet , I have not had any mic dropouts. Would highly reccomend 5 |
