Sennheiser Momentum Headphones Ear Pad Replacement

This replacement ear pad is better than the original for my Sony MDR-V6 headphones. I use these for recording marching band contests and they are very comfortable.

I purchased these after my Sennheiser Momentum 3 died and was looking for a set of buds with great sound quality and most importantly, reliability. I used to have audio dropouts with my Sennheiser's. So far, I haven't had any issues. I do wish they had an auto EQ feature similar to the Sennheiser, but having LDAC is a good tradeoff.

Great build, good fit, comfortable. After trying the Sennheiser Momentum, and PSB M4U, these are better. The sound is pure. crisp.cleancr clean, crisp

Always been a fan of Sennheiser. Their mics are outstanding and got my first pair of these headphones for everyday video and audio editing about 7 or 8 years ago. The sound quality is excellent, comfort is great can wear all day with no issues, and durability is solid. The material on the top pad part wore away after using my first pair everyday for 5+ years, so gaff taped it and used them for field work, and got a new pair for studio. Still using the gaffed pair for field and they work perfectly. The new pair have an improved top pad design with a gap in the middle. This is exactly where the pad cover wore down, so to Sennheiser's credit, they improved the design and this 2nd pair will likely last even longer. I have nothing but good things to say about the Sennheiser HD 280 Pro headphones, especially for the price. I have tried a few other professional headphones, some more expensive, and these Sennheisers beat them all in quality, durability, and price! Going forward I'm not even bothering with anything else for all my headphone needs.

Very good gear. I needed a replacement as I couldn't connect my Sennheiser lav to my new I-Pad anymore and this did the trick. Just used it a couple of times, but so far is working nicely. Obviously that you have to treat it with care as the components are not as sturdy as the more expensive ones, but that's a given due to the affordable price. I think it's a good trade off.

I tried to get ear pad replacements from other vendors and they did not have them. These headphones are very expensive and replacing ear pads is the easiest way and the cheapest way to perhaps fix them the ear pads wear out about every two years and I wear them constantly every day all day. BNH was the only supplier that had them. I got them and they went on relatively easy. It does take some work but having new ear pads is remarkably amazing.

I currently own several pairs of headphones (2 Sennheiser, 2 AKG, 1 Grado) and that doesn't include in-ear/earbuds. The ATH-M50x's are my favorite! Great sound, comfortable & easy to drive. I like that they come with 3 different cable lengths. They are over ear, meaning a little bigger, but that helps seal out external sounds. Highly recommended!

I was searching for NC over ear headphones because I work in noisy environment. Was choosing between XM4 and Sennheiser PXC 550 II...Sony sounds better than any other headphones, and they are loud. But Sennheiser felt a bit more comfortable but not loud enough and sound is just not what it should be. I just wish Sony wouldnt make touch control, physical buttons would be much better.

Unlike other ear pads that I was considering for my Sennheiser HD 280 Headphones, these Auray ear pads were fairly easy to install since the material that attaches to the headphone is a little stretchy. The stock ear pads from Sennheiser are probably more difficult to install since they are less stretchy. The leather seems to be of good quality and feels good. The level of sound isolation is at least as good as the original ear pads.

My first pair of Sennheiser Headphones and I REALLY like them. Sound is excellent and the around the ear style cups close outside sound VERY well.
