As an audiophile and an owner of some of the best headphones from Sennheiser and others, I must say that the AirPods Max Headphones are excellent - - in fact they are terrific. The sound quality is superb and the headphones are extremely comfortable. This product gets my highest rating of 5/5. 5 |

This would be the Illmatic of Headphones for DJs. Sennheiser kept If it ain't broke, don't try fix it. Many user replaceable parts. Light weights construction for hours of use without fatigue. I believe 2024 marks the 35 years anniversary of this headphones. As glasses wearer, on-ear nature of this headphones works wonder. Since nothing existed in this world is perfect, here are few cons; little thin and easy to get tangled straight cable, coiled cable is also nice to have but little to heavy and long for my taste. Although included Pleather pads are comfy, and gets worn out rather quick. Invest in velour pads like ones from DT770. 5 |

Another Sennheiser milestone product in my collection of mics. I'm using it with the SONY FDR-AX100 4K camcorder. The camcorder has an ok built-in stereo mic system, but the MKE 440 truly adds professional stereo interview capabilities. Together with the Universal Shoe Mount adaptor (required for the SONY camcorder), this combination camcorder/stereo mic delivers beautifully. Best of all: The two batteries required for the mic seem to last forever (well, almost)... 5 |

I purchased this stereo mini to XLR adaptor to go along with a Sennheiser MKE 400 microphone. I purchased it because the mic come standard with a stereo mini connector only and I wanted to plug it in to the XLR inputs on my camera. The adaptor works well and is recommended. 5 |

This is the best. Incredibly high quality audio. The stereo mics that come with it are great, often beating out my $ Sennheiser shotgun when I get down to editing. Safety record is a lifesaver. Long Battery. Super Portable. Light, but rubberized and feels tough. Knobs are easy to adjust on the fly. Built in compressors are solid. If you're using with a DSLR its great, you just put the manual audio all the way down on your camera, then up 1 and the output from the zoom will match perfectly. Makes syncing a breeze. I love this thing. 5 |

In my first review I said that only having a mono channel was a serious design flaw in this system. Unfortunately, I displayed my ignorance of professional audio. Using my prior Sennheiser systems, I thought that my lav mic was stereo and that therefore I was getting a stereo signal. I was wrong. It is a mono lav mic that Sennheiser converts to a left and right channel (or a single mono channel to sound like stereo) and then I hear stereo. But this happens in the background so my lack of audio knowledge thought it was a stereo signal that I saw on my video editor and/or my DAW. Sony does the same thing; it creates a single mono track for each of the two (or more) transmitters and leaves it up me as the user to determine how I want to change the signal to a left and right track. I use Fairlight in DaVinci Resolve and there are three very easy and quick ways to convert the single mono channel to stereo or a L/R mono channel. If you don't know how to do this, check out many videos on YT. Hope this helps someone. I pulled out a few hairs figuring this out with the help of the Pro Audio guys at B&H - super big shoutout to them! As a result of my ignorance I've upgraded my review to 5 stars - and another 5 for the B&H Pro Audio guys 5 |

Sennheiser's MKE 440 is a surprisingly small stereo shotgun that weighs only 5.8 ounces, while capturing focused stereo audio from the direction of the video shoot. The mic rejects the majority of off-axis noise from outside the camera's field of view.. What's different about this microphone is it uses two mini-shotgun elements that are suspended in metal tubes in a V-shape arrangement. This differs from mics in a single tube that perform as more conventional M/S, AB or XY stereo pickups. The design captures the audio that's directly in the field of view of a 35mm lens. The stereo spread is very uniform and intelligibility is high. The MKE440 results in a narrower sound field than the Rode stereo mics, which offered a wider pickup pattern and more reverberant audio. The Sennheiser rejected off-focus sound that the Rode did not. The Sennheiser has a stereo, super-cardioid pickup pattern and features a frequency response of 50 Hz to 20 kHz, as well as a maximum sound pressure level of 132 dB. The mic is powered by a pair of AAA batteries and offers an operating time of 100 hours. A glowing LED lets the user know when the battery gets low. The mic delivers full performance with a low battery warning. I liked the design of the battery compartment, which is easy to access and is built well. The pair of microphones inside the stainless steel micro-mesh capsules are internally shock-mounted to prevent handling noise. The outer mesh casing itself protects against wind noise, though Sennheiser sells an optional black furry wind cover, which I recommend for outdoor use. 5 |

I've always gone for inexpensive headphones and was ok with that, until I tried on the Sennheiser HD280 & realized I deserved a great pair of headphones that had great sound and kept out all the room noise around me. ... Been using them mostly on my computer to edit video with, and a couple times for recording interviews... ... They're very comfortable, sound is great.. but have to remember to take them off occassionaly to let my ears breath... Did you know ears can sweat ? 5 |
