Sennheiser Or Shure Headphones

I've replaced my Sennheiser MKE-1 with the Shure TwinPlex TL47. The Sennheiser is a great mic, but the Shure TwinPlex TL47 has a more natural, richer and fuller sound. 5 |

I first purchased one of the cases for a set of Sennheiser HD600s I bought a while back. I liked the case so much, I just bought a second case for a new set of Shure SRH-1840s. Lightweight, yet rigid enough to fully protect the headphones. Plenty of room for the phones, the cable and the 1/4” adapter. I do wish there was a dedicated pouch inside so the adapter wouldn’t bounce around, but that’s a small thing. Love doing business with B&H. 5 |

The Shure wireless mics worked perfect along with the Sennheiser Boom mic while shooting movie. The quality was great with the zoom f8. You can’t go wrong with the Shure Wireless mic set 10 stars from me. 5 |

Mobile DJ since 2001. Previous owner of Shure and Sennheiser systems. Have used Audix R61 receivers weekly (mostly at weddings) since early 2017, they are rock solid units! TRUE DIVERSITY (dual tuners) indeed! Have not had a SINGLE signal drop out indoors or outdoors, (64MHz frequency band is awesome) even in the super busy RF environment of Southern California. We typically use 2-3 units at the same time. The range is outstanding also, we are often about 100 ft away (advertises a huge 450 ft range, haven't had to do that..) and with up to 200 guests between receiver and bodypacks, still no issues. Very easy setup, and has great features like locking the transmitter so no accidental 'mutes' occur. R61 has a massive amount of tunable frequencies if you need them. The construction is metal and quite solid. Shure and Sennheiser rule the mobile DJ world of wireless, but after speaking with Audix at NAMM 2017, I went with their system and have not looked back. I have since had two other colleagues see/hear the system, and although they were lifetime Shure users, bought an Audix 60 series system. The few reviews you will find rave about them as well. I think it is the current sleeper system that doesn't get a lot of attention, but performs extremely well. Highly recommend. The only downside is the R61 receivers, and the 60 series in general, are of course more expensive than the '40' series, and not typically in stock...anywhere. It takes a few extra days to get to you but it is worth the wait to ensure perfect events, especially wedding ceremonies, with rock solid signal thanks to the true diversity dual tuners. 5 |

I switches from many mic including the Sennheiser and Rode and I can tell you Shure got it right this time. The best off axis rejection in its class. Unlike other shotgun, I find that the vp89s can be used indoor with good results. Absolutely a keeper. 5 |

The Sennheiser e935 is a blessing for those of us with muddy voices, my Shure sm58 copy was too dark, the e935 brings out a strong and interesting sounding midrange quality to my voice, I'm not a powerful singer but this mic really helps. 5 |

I am using the microphone to record my voice for work and private uses. I tested it against the Shure Headset WH20 and the Sennheiser e835. The ears told me that the AT2020 is the better mic. I did a Reveal analysis in Peak Pro 6 (shows the gain response vs. frequency). The AT2020 showed a wider frequency range response than either the Shure or the Sennheiser mics. Before, I hated to hear my recorded voice. Now I can easily listen to it, even though I don't have the Radio Voice. 5 |

Went to NAB to compare mics, specifically. Listened to Sennheiser, Sanken, Shure and this was my favorite. Had for over a year, still love it. 5 |

Probably the best mic I have used in over 50 years of performing and I have used Shure, Sennheiser, Carvin, Audio Technica, etc. I have used AKG in the past and would definitely recommend them. The clarity is unsurpassed. The low end is so mellow and the mids and highs really put you out front. This mic can also be used without a wind screen. They take abuse and keep on ticking. Well made and can't beat the design. For the money, can't be topped. No cons here. This is my go to mic because I know it will be my friend. The rest of them came stay in my bag. B&H is the best to do business with. This mic was delivered in less than two days using regular delivery. Unbelievable service. If you want it fast, go B&H. Better hope your order is what you want because it will be at your door before you get off the phone. 5 |

I went with Sennheiser after a few audio engineers told me they were just as solid as shure with better price points and I am very happy with this mic. I went 150 feet with no dropouts using the factory supplied little guys in the back. I attached a paddle with 2 50' BNC cables and the range went to nearly 300 feet with no loss. Very happy. Great price, buying another one to complete my 4RU rack so I can have 2. The mic is crisp and booming. Love it 5 |
