Have purchased and used many Sennheiser products through the years. The HMD-25 was great. The HMD-26 was flawed, but many issues were corrected with the HMD-26-II. The HMD-27 has the around ear style. Personal preference for the 26-II on ear style. Noise canceling is very effective. We think the 600-ohm version (vs 100-ohm) is worth it. I've had several of these models (RS 120-W) over the years. Superior sound! I've often looked over my shoulder to see who was playing the drums or something! Range is GREAT! Can walk throughout my apartment with no drop outs - and this is in a concrete/steel structure! On the ears provide sound from your environment - so you can hear the doorbell, cat, dog or phone! I sat on my RS 160 so it was time to replace my Headphone. The RS 175 is a great improvement over the 160. More controls and it fits over my ears completely so all the sound is captured. 5 |
