Sennheiser Stereo Wireless Audio Headphones

This is the best. Incredibly high quality audio. The stereo mics that come with it are great, often beating out my $ Sennheiser shotgun when I get down to editing. Safety record is a lifesaver. Long Battery. Super Portable. Light, but rubberized and feels tough. Knobs are easy to adjust on the fly. Built in compressors are solid. If you're using with a DSLR its great, you just put the manual audio all the way down on your camera, then up 1 and the output from the zoom will match perfectly. Makes syncing a breeze. I love this thing.

In my first review I said that only having a mono channel was a serious design flaw in this system. Unfortunately, I displayed my ignorance of professional audio. Using my prior Sennheiser systems, I thought that my lav mic was stereo and that therefore I was getting a stereo signal. I was wrong. It is a mono lav mic that Sennheiser converts to a left and right channel (or a single mono channel to sound like stereo) and then I hear stereo. But this happens in the background so my lack of audio knowledge thought it was a stereo signal that I saw on my video editor and/or my DAW. Sony does the same thing; it creates a single mono track for each of the two (or more) transmitters and leaves it up me as the user to determine how I want to change the signal to a left and right track. I use Fairlight in DaVinci Resolve and there are three very easy and quick ways to convert the single mono channel to stereo or a L/R mono channel. If you don't know how to do this, check out many videos on YT. Hope this helps someone. I pulled out a few hairs figuring this out with the help of the Pro Audio guys at B&H - super big shoutout to them! As a result of my ignorance I've upgraded my review to 5 stars - and another 5 for the B&H Pro Audio guys

Sennheiser's MKE 440 is a surprisingly small stereo shotgun that weighs only 5.8 ounces, while capturing focused stereo audio from the direction of the video shoot. The mic rejects the majority of off-axis noise from outside the camera's field of view.. What's different about this microphone is it uses two mini-shotgun elements that are suspended in metal tubes in a V-shape arrangement. This differs from mics in a single tube that perform as more conventional M/S, AB or XY stereo pickups. The design captures the audio that's directly in the field of view of a 35mm lens. The stereo spread is very uniform and intelligibility is high. The MKE440 results in a narrower sound field than the Rode stereo mics, which offered a wider pickup pattern and more reverberant audio. The Sennheiser rejected off-focus sound that the Rode did not. The Sennheiser has a stereo, super-cardioid pickup pattern and features a frequency response of 50 Hz to 20 kHz, as well as a maximum sound pressure level of 132 dB. The mic is powered by a pair of AAA batteries and offers an operating time of 100 hours. A glowing LED lets the user know when the battery gets low. The mic delivers full performance with a low battery warning. I liked the design of the battery compartment, which is easy to access and is built well. The pair of microphones inside the stainless steel micro-mesh capsules are internally shock-mounted to prevent handling noise. The outer mesh casing itself protects against wind noise, though Sennheiser sells an optional black furry wind cover, which I recommend for outdoor use.

The Bose QuietComfort Ultra Wireless Headphones are a game-changer in the world of noise-canceling headphones. I've had the pleasure of using them for a while now, and I must say, they deliver an exceptional audio experience. First and foremost, the noise cancellation on these headphones is nothing short of incredible. They effortlessly drown out background noise, allowing you to immerse yourself fully in your music or podcasts. Whether you're on a noisy commute, working in a bustling coffee shop, or just need some peace and quiet at home, these headphones will do the trick. Sound quality is where Bose truly shines. The audio is crisp, clear, and well-balanced across the entire spectrum. The bass is punchy without being overpowering, and the mids and highs are rich and detailed. Whether you're listening to classical music, hip-hop, or podcasts, these headphones deliver a fantastic audio experience. Comfort is another area where the QuietComfort Ultra excels. They are incredibly lightweight and come with plush ear cushions, making them comfortable to wear for extended periods. The headband is adjustable and feels secure without being too tight. They're perfect for long flights or marathon work sessions. Battery life is also impressive. With up to 20 hours of playback time on a single charge, you can enjoy your music all day without worrying about running out of power. The touch-sensitive controls on the earcups are intuitive and easy to use. You can adjust volume, skip tracks, and even answer calls with a few simple taps. These are worth every penny if you value top-notch noise cancellation, audio quality, and comfort. The Bose QuietComfort Ultra Wireless Headphones are a premium choice for audiophiles and frequent travelers alike, and they have certainly earned a spot at the top of my list of favorite headphones.

I compared these headphones to the Apple AirPods Max, and the Sennheiser Momenthum 4 wireless headphones. After several days of evaluating the sound and features i selected the Sony's because I felt the sound quality was the best.

I bought a pair on a whim because I got tired of using Airpod Pros 2 IEMs to use while on the couch or in bed waiting for the kids to fall asleep. I am into the Audiophile hobby so I am nitpicky when it comes to sound but obviously for wireless devices I understand sacrifices have to be made. I own a Hifiman Susvara, a Focal Utopia, and Sennheiser HD800S, all of which are considered summit-fi headphones which I use when stationary at my audio stack at my PC Desktop so I know what good heaphones sound like. The headphones are slightly consumer tuned to be warmer on the bass region (typical) but not overly annoying. ANC isn't as good as Apple solutions but sound quality is leaps above it. The sound quality is definitely on par with Focal's sub-$1000 offerings and they are more resolving than my classic Sennheiser HD650 for sure. Where I find this shines is with the Sound Personalization feature in the app where it auto-EQs based on your hearing capability. If this is your only pair of audiophile grade headphones, you'll appreciate the DAC feature where you can plug it into your USB jack of your PC to feed a pure digital signal to the headphone's built in DAC/AMP, this is where I feel this headphone performs its best (though BT is still best in class amongst its wireless peers). For anyone who just needs a pair of audiophile wireless headphones that can be used as a wired version (USB or headphone jack) as well look no further. As of the latest firmware version I do not notice any delay playing music or content on my phone as other users have noted.

To me, this was the only solution I could find to go truly wireless with a stereo signal from a keyboard or mixer; the headphones are comfortable enough and pairing the transmitter and receiver was easy; It appears to handle organ and bass signals reasonably well; I did have an initial issue with static or pops but proper adjustment of volume levels seems to have solved the problem; So far, I'm very pleased with the headphones;

Solid wireless kit. I wish they offered a better mic in the kit. Like the Audio-technica 4001 or a Sennheiser MD46.

Picked up a pair for my two Sennheiser wireless lav systems. These seamlessly work with the Sennheiser 3.5mm jack. I use the mics for production audio. Mostly Indie Film or interviews. The size of the mics work great very easily hidden. Compared to the mics that come with the Sennheisers these seem to be significantly smaller and at a much cleaner/clearer output. I would suggest these mics to anyone looking to upgrade your Sennheiser System(s). This upgrade really helped me get the clear audio I was looking for. No regrets of the purchase, would buy again.
