I was looking for a 5 channel receiver/amp so I could utilize my existing surround sound speaker system after my old AIWA receiver finally died. I looked at PYLE units but the reviews scared me off. I saw this unit at B&H and it had everything I was looking for. Although it is not an actual Dolby or DTS processor it does have 5.2 channel output and 5.2 RCA inputs so I can order a separate Dolby/DTS decoder that has 5.1 output and still get true surround sound. I run my HDTV through it to get surround sound over the 5.1 channels (I only have one subwoofer). The sound of this unit over my AIWA speakers is excellent and the AM/FM receiver is picks up well after connecting the antenna. The remote offers the ability to change all of the parameters of the unit and works easily from 30 feet away. The only drawback is the remote will not turn the unit off but I hit that on my way to the bedroom after we're done watching TV. It would also be nice to be able to adjust the volume of the 5 channels independently. It seems to be well built and I expect many years of service from it. I did a lot of comparing of various priced units and all in all I think this unit is a great value for the money and I am very happy with it. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Klipsch makes the highest quality and these surround speakers produces superb sound for any audiophile. Easily switchable from Dolby Surround to Dolby Atmos, an optional strong/flexible grille, and the flexibility to wall mount for the perfect sound setup. Versatile, best-in-class, and a clean ebony finish. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of the standout features of this soundbar is its surround sound system. With Dolby Atmos technology, sound is not only projected forward but also upwards, creating a three-dimensional audio experience that fills the room. The soundbar's upward-firing speakers add height to the soundstage, immersing you in a sphere of sound that brings movies to life and puts you in the center of the action. Whether it's the thunderous roar of a blockbuster explosion or the subtle ambiance of a quiet scene, the surround sound system delivers an immersive experience that enhances your viewing pleasure. Product Benefits: Dolby Atmos technology creates a captivating surround sound experience. Wireless connectivity eliminates clutter and allows for flexible placement. Adaptive sound technology optimizes audio settings for different content types. Multiple input options, including HDMI and Bluetooth, offer versatility in connectivity. Slim and sleek design complements any home entertainment setup. Personal Experience: As a cinephile and avid gamer, I was eager to upgrade my home audio setup, and the Samsung HW-S800D 3.1.2ch Soundbar did not disappoint. From the moment I set it up, I was impressed by the sound quality and surround sound capabilities. Whether I'm watching the latest blockbuster movie or diving into an intense gaming session, the soundbar pulls me into the action with its immersive audio. One of the things I appreciate most about this soundbar is its versatility. It seamlessly connects to my TV via HDMI ARC and also offers Bluetooth connectivity for streaming music from my smartphone. The wireless subwoofer adds a powerful punch to the bass without the need for messy cables, and the adaptive sound technology ensures that audio settings are optimized for whatever I'm watching or listening to. 5 |

I bought this to replace my old Sony STR-DE1075 which still worked great but had no HDMI input capability. I wanted Dolby Atmos and the STR-DH790 provides this. I am using it with a Roku Ultra and there are many Dolby Atmos videos on Youtube but none will really blow you away like I was hoping. I have yet to use it for a Dolby surround sound movie but look forward to hearing the full effects once I do. I know that the STR-DH790 is providing the full surround sound so I just need to find a good video to really try it out. 5 |

Absolutely amazing sound on their own, but when linked to Sonos Arc to give Dolby Atmos surround sound, then the result is 'mind-blowing' both on films and music streaming services. A truly remarkable set-up that deserves 15/10 Well done Sonos! 5 |

Getting my own surround sound with Dolby Atmos was a dream of mine for most of my adult life. When I heard how the Arc sounded in the shop I was blown away. It enhances the movie watching so much, is so clean and clear. And amazing for music too. I thought I'd try it out with out the SubWoofer because it was so good, and it was but also recently added the SubWoofer which adds a whole other level to my movie watching experiencing. Now I am hoping to one day get the Sonos One's at the back of the room for complete surround but even without that, what I have at the moment makes me smile so much! When watching a movie you hear the glass break, or a trickle, such details and base also for the action movies just like the cinema. But note you'll need a TV that has the HDMI that support Dolby Atmos otherwise you don't get that full affect even though the speakers can offer that. Love my system all in white. My dream has come true and worth every cent! 5 |

I have a pair of these paired with beam 2 and sub mini for surround sound. The sound is immersive especially with Dolby atmos content. Also able to stream music from Spotify with incredible clarity. The unit themselves have a distinctive modern stylish shape. 5 |

I've always gone for inexpensive headphones and was ok with that, until I tried on the Sennheiser HD280 & realized I deserved a great pair of headphones that had great sound and kept out all the room noise around me. ... Been using them mostly on my computer to edit video with, and a couple times for recording interviews... ... They're very comfortable, sound is great.. but have to remember to take them off occassionaly to let my ears breath... Did you know ears can sweat ? 5 |

Coming from the Sony MDR-HW700 home theatre headphones it is truly astounding to experience true surround virtualisation. The Sonys did an ok job at mimicking and simulating a wide sound field with non surround signal and when inputting surround had a decent effect, but the JVC is next level. The sound stage it creates with its technology based on a unique scan of your ears and space make all the difference. Listening to actual surround signal feels accurate and truly Immersive. It's an added bonus that these support full atmos and dts signal amd with that coming through these headphones really shine through with their full potential. If you have the budget and need a headphone driven home theatre solution, do not go anywhere else. You need these. 5 |
