Sennheiser Television Headphones

I have been using headphones for quite a few years for watching television and disks. They make hearing dialog a lot better, while at the same time not disturbing my neighbors. I live in a very small space. Until I purchased the Sennheiser RS 175 Digital Wireless Headphone System, I did not know what I was missing. The freedom to move around without wires is wonderful. The sound compares favorably with the corded headphones I was using, Sennheiser HD 280 Pro.

As an audiophile and an owner of some of the best headphones from Sennheiser and others, I must say that the AirPods Max Headphones are excellent - - in fact they are terrific. The sound quality is superb and the headphones are extremely comfortable. This product gets my highest rating of 5/5.

This would be the Illmatic of Headphones for DJs. Sennheiser kept If it ain't broke, don't try fix it. Many user replaceable parts. Light weights construction for hours of use without fatigue. I believe 2024 marks the 35 years anniversary of this headphones. As glasses wearer, on-ear nature of this headphones works wonder. Since nothing existed in this world is perfect, here are few cons; little thin and easy to get tangled straight cable, coiled cable is also nice to have but little to heavy and long for my taste. Although included Pleather pads are comfy, and gets worn out rather quick. Invest in velour pads like ones from DT770.

I use these headphones through a small amplifier to listen to my television set. Their sound is superb and the various plugin wires allows me to use them for other aural uses. They are constructed very solidly, yet the are very comfortable. I bought leather ear pieces, too, but I haven't used them yet (if I ever do).

I teach film and television production to high school students and I wanted some decent quality headphones that wouldn't break the budget. These fit the bill perfectly. They have decent sound and are well designed. I also like the fact that they come with 2 detachable cables. (a short straight and longer coiled) The ability to detach at the headphones means you no longer have to throw away the headphones when you develop a short in the cable. We have only used these for a week so I can't speak to durability but they seem to be well built and should last a while.

I have been using these headphones for nearly three months now. They are excellent and work as advertised. I purchased these primarily for the noise cancelling and for calls and video conferencing working from home. They deliver. People are unaware I'm on a headset when I'm using them. Once they have been paired with a device, they connect to them automatically and quickly. I have a total of four devices paired with them and switching is seamless. I have only two minor issues with them: As others have reported: i have what I think are average sized ears but they touch the inner fabric of the cups regardless of how I adjust them. It's not a deal breaker, but it is annoying. Just a minor increase in depth would fix this. The other is with the lack of aptX and aptX Low Latency support. For me, this impacts the quality of my experience with Bluetooth transmitters connected from other devices such as my Sony television and Bluray player when watching and listening to movies or television programs. The latency delay is quite noticeable. I would like to appeal to Sony to include this Codec in a future firmware update.

I order this adapter to connect my regular headphones to my ATEM Television Studio HD8 ISO for live streaming. When I initially purchased this switcher I didn't know that the 5-pin headphones were almost $1K. This converted allows for me to hear my stream and communicate to my team via the headset.

I've always gone for inexpensive headphones and  was ok with that, until I tried on the Sennheiser HD280 & realized I deserved a great pair of headphones that had great sound and kept out all the room noise around me. ... Been using them mostly on my computer to edit video with, and a couple times for recording interviews... ... They're very comfortable, sound is great.. but have to remember to take them off occassionaly to let my ears breath...   Did you know ears can sweat ?

Sennheiser never disappoints! Been a Dj for over 20 years and these are the best headphones I've owned!!!
