I wanted this stool so I could get rid of the big executive chair I sit at my desk in. In a video shot, or still image, the chair itself takes up too much space. The stool telescopes to the desired height effortlessly. 5 |

I shoot surf photography and I came from having a 5D Mk III with the Elite series housing purchased in 2014. The Edge series is a huge improvement. The back plate is always aligned with the bottom hinges and the electronic shutter works great. Additionally it's lighter and smaller than the Elite series. Highly recommend. 5 |

I mean, I guess the headline kinda spoiled the review, but I love this thing! My girlfriend has the same one, and I used to think she was pretty lame for having it. Until I switched jobs, and found myself working 100% off a laptop, never seated in ergonomically correct situations. I was hunching over worse than ever, and my wrists started hurting. So I borrowed her laptop stand for a couple days, while working at home, and noticed IMMEDIATE improvement. But why THIS stand? Solid aluminum construction, for one. It's got a tiny bit of give, because of the shape, which is really great while typing for long periods. It's Aesthetically pleasing. Matches the MacBook Pro aluminum casing perfectly, and has a cord management hole in the back. It's odd U-shape provides a place to keep my Time Machine hard drive, not only hidden, but up off my desk in case of accidental spills! A life-saver! I think I'll stop glowing now. Point is, it's a solid item for the price. If I had to give 1 con, it'd be that it's tough to store, since it's one piece. It just has to sorta sit on your desk. But I'm ok with that. 5 |
