Set Asus Router

Long range and easy set up. The second ASUS router I’ve owner.

This is my first ASUS router and it will not be the last. Its good a good router for everyone.

I found this router from ASUS easy and painless to set up. My router needs are pretty basic, and to that point the RT-AX3000 works great. My only problem was registering the router with ASUS. I Googled registration problems with ASUS and it seems to a common issue. ASUS needs to address this mater because it tarnishes an overall positive experience.

Removing the Router from the box took longer than set up. This is my second Mesh system from ASUS. The previous one I had for 6 years and this new one is fantastic for Wi-Fi Dense neighborhood that won’t drop off. The ease of set up and the tools you have for priority and peripheral management is outstanding. I highly recommend the invest.

Very easy set up using the ASUS router app and made my connection much faster. So far so good, only had it for a few days, but very pleased with the performance. This one replaced my other ASUS router that is 10 years old and is still operational. Hoping this one can last as long too!

I was originally running the Asus AX11000 with two new GT6 nodes. The house is not wired for ethernet and I refuse to update until I have a multi-gig fiber option. We do have 1G internet service and I was getting under 900 mbs to the router, and below 400mbs to my main computer. I replaced the main router with this new BE98 Pro and immediately post set up, I’m getting almost 1.2g to the router and over 900 mbs consistently to the main PC! Simply remarkable. The set up was relatively simple, using the iOS Asus router app. Pretty much stuck with the initial defaults and there were a few hiccups during set up. First, the GT6 nodes were showing poor connections to the router until I rebooted the BE98 Pro. Second, I tried the add an AX58 node as well, and the BE98 Pro didn’t not want to recognize it. I could not get the app to add the node. Finally, I logged in via the browser interface and it recognized and added it! They say wifi 7 is overkill as most devices won't utilize it yet, but I cannot believe the immediate boost in performance, and it's well worth the change!

After a little searching this is most cost effective Asus router that supports USB tethering. Set-up was easy and it has been working flawlessly for the past month. Tethering worked with an iPhone running the latest OS. Mounting holes allow wall mounting. With a thin form factor this would sit nicely in a data close or behind furniture. +it supports more advanced networking features. -the web interface is a bit too simple.

Fast and great router; super easy set-up via the ASUS Mobile App and awesome features via the App like viewing and managing all of the devices. I was finally able to turn off the WiFi on my LG ThinkQ oven via the App !

Router is working great! Asus routers have always served me well.

While replacing my old modem with an updated model I accidently set a shook through my old Asus Router that apparently toasted it. The only router I could get instore without ordering and having a two to three day wait was Netgear. Installed the competitor’s router that day, within twenty-four hours, my WI-FI network went down requiring a Technical service call. With the help of the Technician my Wi-Fi network was up and running again. However, every other day after that my network would go down, requiring a power-down and restart of the router. A week later I ordered the ASUS RT-AX3000 router, installed it and returned the competitor’s router. The ASUS router was easy to install, has been trouble free and works great. Even has the range to provide WI-FI signal to my pole barn where I previously only a signal using a WI-FI extender. I highly recommend the ASUS RT-AX3000 Router!
