Set Logitech Camera As Default

This is my second C920s webcam. It has great features and a beautiful image. It's basically plug & play right out of the box, with one major exception. I immediately realized that the image is reversed upon plugging the webcam in. Why the default image is reversed kind of blows my mind. There were no directions on how to reverse the image. I went on the Logitech website and searched for a solution. Nada. I searched Google, too. All the solutions were complicated and convoluted. I ended up downloading 2 or 3 programs that didn't solve my problem. Since this is my second C920s, I went back to my first installation of this webcam on my other PC. The image was right on. So, I checked and I have a program called Logitech Capture. I checked its settings, and sure enough, under the Source 1 settings there's an Advanced Settings slider. Sliding that to On opens up another set of settings. One of them is horizontally flip source. Checking that check box flips the image to the proper point of view. Why Logitech would reverse the default image is beyond me. And, why they don't provide instructions on how to flip the image is crazy. Anyway, just downloading this simple (free) program from the Logitech website solves the issue. All is well. I'm very happy with the webcam now. 5 |

Webcam is terrific; easy to set up; easy to use. You must go to the Logitech site and download the Logitech Camera Settings program to have full functionality. That info isn't mentioned anywhere. You're welcome. B &H a breeze to work with. Love the option to be notified if item is now available. Waited six months with another site, that repeatedly pushed out delivery date. Once I used B & H wait list, had the camera in one week! 5 |

I bought this to go with a new LG OLED and the Roku OS is some much easier to use and set up than the LG. It was a breeze to integrate and is the default OS 5 |

At the default setting I could hear it cycling often. Once I set it to the economy (?) mode where the fan switches speed it seemed to cycle less often. I may give it a try at just constant on at the lowest speed and see if it will keep up without having to kick into high speed. My brand new Yamaha shut itself down during the ending fighter scene on Top Gun without this. I may watch it again with this device and see if it passes that test. 5 |

Already got some serious use with my pelican case, carrying a lot of electronic audio gear. The pick-n-pluck foam set works beautifully. Feels nice not having to stuff my laptop bag with all the things I need for gigs all the time. Also, it makes me more comfortable sending my gear on a plane knowing it is protected by such a rugged case. BUT, the Ruggard TSA lock it came with malfunctioned right out of the package. I followed the directions to change the combination from the default 0-0-0, as recommended by Ruggard, and upon activating the new combination, the lock wont even open. Whether its the default, the new combination I set, or any combination of numbers, it stays locked. Thats the only downfall of this whole package and I would rather a much more fail-proof lock. 5 |

I love this system, everything is easy to set up and use. My only issue is with the default headstrap. It's poorly designed and doesn't help at all with distribution of the weight. The elite strap is worth the purchase though as it does help quite a bit. 5 |

this subwoofer is paired with a set of KEF LSX in my home office. subwoofer really brings the LSX to life. I also greatly appreciate the app and its quick setting options for music, movie and default. you can immediately hear the difference when you switch modes. I use default for conference calls which lowers the bass. Went with the Micro because of it's size for my small space and the reputation of SVS. I am not disappointed. 5 |

I just purchased this router to replace my Netgear R7800 (AC2600) Nighthawk X4S. The Netgear had great range and speed, but the menu system was dog slow and it started having stability problems after 6 months. While I can's speak to the stability of the RT2600AC I can speak to the performance and functionality. This router matches the range and speed of the Netgear (at least in my house - 2960 sq ft with 3 floors). So that's great news since the Netgear is reviewed everywhere as one of the best routers around. But what really pushed me to write this review is the functionality. The parental controls and security functionality in this router blow away the Netgear, and my Previous Asus RT-N66R with Tomato Open Source Firmware. First, the Admin GUI is super fast. Everything just works, and the help is generally good. Second, the parental controls are fantastic. You can configure a default policy which lets you set a web filter (Disabled, Basic, Protected, and Custom). The Basic filter will protect from hacking sites, and the protected filter will protect from hacking and adult sited. So a couple of clicks will make your network child safe. And you can exempt computers from the default policy as well. There is also a safe search policy which I think enables Google's Safe Search. That one made my 17 year old complain about Youtube safe search being force enabled. So it worked, but I had to turn that one off so he could use Youtube properly again. Finally, there is a very easy to use Internet Time Allowed option to limit internet time. This can be set for the default policy and customized for any computer. For example, you can set a default policy for the entire house to turn off the internet from 10 PM to 6 AM but exempt your phone or tablet. This is very, very cool. I wish this router had existed ten years ago. 5 |
