Setting Up A Sony Soundbar

Great Tv easy to operate and no problem to set up. I do need help setting up my soundbar though.

The Sony Soundbar will make it sound like you are in the theaters!! You will hear every beautiful detail when you are watching your TV! Really loved how easy it was to set up. Just plug and play and I was already enjoying my movie. Highly recommend it!!

There's some important things you should know if this Soundbar is new to you and you are setting it up. -Turn the auto power option from on to off in the LG wifi speaker app. When this setting is kept on it can cause issues with the subwoofer cutting in and out. -Move the subwoofer as far away from your wireless router as possible. Keeping it near your router can cause interference and also cause it to cut in and out. -The auto room optimizer can cause problems with the center channel and make dialogue sound muffled or too quiet. If you experience this issue reset the optimizer and don't use it. This will probably be dependent on the particular room you are using it in. Sometimes it may improve the sound, other times it may worsen it. -Off-axis listening with this Soundbar is not very good so you want the Soundbar as close to ear level as possible. This will make a big difference. Particularly with dialog. -You want to bump up the level on your front and rear upfiring Speakers +3 in the app. They are set too low on their stock setting. This soundbar is as good as it gets when it comes to soundbars, if Atmos is important to you there is no better option. It has the largest rear speakers on the market.

No problem setting up and using the soundbar or the included remote or connecting to the app and to my cellphone via Bluetooth. The Best sounding soundbar I've ever heard, with True Dolby Atmos and Truespace technology leading the way. Music, movies and gaming sound are fabulous. A really modern looking unit too. A definite recommendation from me.

Besides setting the rear and top levels volume to +6 I found out that by using the adaptive sound mode this is where the 9500S surround speakers shine on, the sound of my Q8000A soundbar was already amazing (be it music, movies , video games, everything sounds great) but when I paired the surround speakers with the soundbar I realized what I had been missing out, it was night and day , as soon as the rear speakers kicked in I knew I was in for a treat, it's just truly amazing the sound I get from these speakers working in tandem with my soundbar. I will no longer use a soundbar without rear speakers, and these not needing a hub to connect to is just the icing on the cake.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can’t make this up! This is the best soundbar I have owned and used. Setting up the soundbar took a little since it has to be mounted to the wall, I wish it had an option to attach legs for use on an entertainment stand. The included guide helped, but I did wish it were attached and aligned together instead of split in the middle. Once we got the soundbar mounted and fired up, I put on some music and went through the settings. I love that it is able to calibrate for the room. Sound is clear and the subwoofer gives the perfect touch of bass. I also like that this can be paired with the wireless surround speakers. All in all, I recommend this soundbar, especially if you have one of the new LG OLED tvs to pair it to.

subwoofer is and isnt worth it because its not as loud if your not playing the soundbar at loud volume but surround sound and some setting ajustments make it great for its price along woth the dolby digital ans dts neo 2:5 channel which bring the sound to a whole different level of realistic feeling in your room

Thus far I am quite pleased with the quality of the Bose Ultra Soundbar. The clarity of speech is very good. I have struggled with the audio output from my internal TV speaker. I purchased a Sony soundbar and base unit and returned them after three days. The Bose has a much better quality sound, smooth tone, range, and strong when elevated. The setup is easy and adapts automatically to my TV controller. The app is a great feature for sound control. The Bose unit has a speech setting. I have not tested the difference in sound quality between the on/off setting. The one negative is you don't know if the unit is on or off. There is no led indicator. You know it's on by changing the volume. The soundbar gives a light indication. On my TV, it provides an output location from where the sound is coming.

Up to 10 hours of recording on my sony V1P camcorder.. Everyone should buy that

I wanted to add a sub to get extra base to go along with my Sony 7.1 soundbar, I'm so glad I did.
