Setting Up A Video Recording Studio

A must have for on site and in studio video recording.

I am impressed with this team, runs the video camera as a recording studio. I'm impressed.

I got these as part of a package for setting up my home voice recording studio. I don't have much to compare them to, but they work great with the pre-amp and mic I bought with them. Before I set all that up, I plugged them into my ipod and the sound was incredible; I was getting chills from songs I'd never have given a second thought.

In setting up my sound studio I needed to move the computer farther from the area in which the recording would actually take place. These cables are the perfect way to accomplish that. With the drone of the cooling fans now safely distanced, recordings are measurably better.

I've never spent this much money on headphones before. I was setting up a new recording studio and I wanted monitoring headphones in my budget. These were almost unanimously recommended, and it makes total sense. They sound fantastic. I don't know enough to give more details, but that's all I can say. I edit voice over work, and this is beyond sufficient for what I'm doing. I even replaced the ear pads, which altered the sound slightly (because of the different foam insert size) and they still sound excellent. Would highly recommend.

ND's are a must for video recording in an outdoor setting, and the Firecrest 1.2 has been a reliable ND for me for all my lenses!

I'm happy with the mics construction and performance. I'm using it in an office setting for recording video blogs. There is quite a bit of echo in the room using the camera's on-board mic. I mounted this mic on a boom stand pointing downward over the desk and the audio is fantastic.

After being tasked with setting up a small in-house video studio, the FreeStyle Air Max was recommended to me. We are now doing a lot of product demo videos and the Air Max was the perfect compliment to the few LED lights that I had. The Freestyle controller is easy to use and the light quality, versatility, and coverage of this light panel is AMAZING. I am using a snap-box diffuser which makes set up quick and painless. This light is awesome.
