Setting Up Blink Outdoor Cameras

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve experimented with many cameras in my home: blink, nest, etc. The ecobee is by far my favorite. The sleek and powerful design really is a nice aesthetic. It was extremely streamlined to set up and use.

This router is just what I needed. It gives me great reception out to the garage and back porch for my Blink cameras. It also increased my speed from 145 download to 355. Easy setup with the phone app. I would HIGHLY recommend it even if your not tech savvy.

Although designed for larger bullet type cameras, these covers are perfect for the Blink XT2 outdoor cameras. They are well made and only take a minute to install, and they cover the cameras very well, rain or shine. Note: They can, and I had 1 of 4, interfere/reduce your Wi-Fi signal to/from the camera, but relocation can usually solve that issue.

Up to the challenge of todays high res speedster cameras.

Cameras even zoomed, thats good. ALREADY HOOKED 2 UP TO NVR.

ND's are a must for video recording in an outdoor setting, and the Firecrest 1.2 has been a reliable ND for me for all my lenses!

Of course it’s outrageous that Leitz gives its cameras slightly different size hot shoes, forcing you to buy specific viewfinders and/or thumb rests for each camera. But what is is, and so the Thumbs Up I bought for my M10 doesn’t fit the Q2 - and I had to buy another Thumbs Up, because, well, the Thumbs Up makes shooting with both cameras far more comfortable and natural. The black paint starts to wear off the Thumbs Up almost immediately, so beware if you’re silly enough to be bothered by such things. The flip side, of course, is that these gizmos are solid brass, so what some might see as undesirable paint wear, others will welcome as...BRASSING.

I have owned a Match Technical Thumbs Up on 2 Fuji cameras and now the Q, top notch quality and worth the money. I am not sure why some reported issues with this coming loose, so far it works exactly as it should and I see no reason to go to the locking style.

This was the exact product what I needed for long. Now I can use my UP Strap with my cameras. Definitely worth recommending. I was always a fan of Peak Design, since they started rolling out their products.
