Setting Up Corsair K70 Keyboard

I love this keyboard. I will never go back to Corsair.

The K70 was my favorite keyboard of all time. Full Size with wrist rest... great lighting. Good feel almost silent. Went to buy another one and found they are no longer being made. In fact Logitech has quit making scissor key keypads. I had tried mx keys and don't like them. Now I have to spend weeks searching for my next keyboard and it unfortunately won't be a Logitech.

Up until the purchase of this keyboard I was using the built in keyboard on my laptop. I recently began a new job that provided this keyboard and as soon as I used it I knew I had to have it for my home use! (I am a full time student who is in a degree that requires a large amount of writing.) The keys have a good amount of travel and a very satisfying touch response, with just the right amount of noise, not too loud at all for a mechanical keyboard. I can use this for hours and hours and not feel uncomfortable! HIGHLY recommend.

I bought the i7 version with 32 gig of RAM. Build quality is excellent. Very lightweight for the performance. Runs cooler than any laptop I have ever owned. My one complaint is the lack of dedicated Page Up/Down Home and End keys. You have to press a function key in combination with one of the four cursor arrow keys to move up or down quickly. My 2020 HP Spectre X360 is almost exactly the same size as the Dragonfly, yet HP managed to fit dedicated Home, End and Page Up/Down keys on the keyboard. For a high end laptop like the Dragonfly, it's inexplicable that they could not fit dedicated versions of these four frequently used keys on the keyboard. Other than this one issue, the laptop is fast and a perfect travel companion. The built in full size HDMI port is a nice touch for connecting an external monitor or projector. The touchpad is responsive and accurate. Battery life is great so far. Despite my one complaint about the keyboard, I would buy it again, but for this price, one expects perfection, not almost perfection.

Got nothing to complain about, Corsair stands for it's brand.

A dedicated flash for my Pentax K70 goes for about $400.  This does the job nicely for a fraction of the price!

This replaces my K70 which suffered the dreaded aperature failure. I considered a mirrorless camera, but I have big hands and most were uncomfortable to grip. My K70 fit my needs perfectly. I photo grandkids sports, love to camp and fish, as well as hike. The KF offers the same durability and flexibility as the K70. There are cameras with more advanced features available, but they are things that are not a priority for me.

I have been using a K70 with red switches at home for about a year now and was lloking for something mor professional looking for at work while still providing the best typing experience. I found this, picked the blue switches, and haven't looked back since. This keyboard is so solid abd well made. It helps that it looks great annd performs flawlessly as well.
