Setting Up Pioneer Dj Controllers With Macbook

I have had many controllers in the past, this is the best one for me by far! Most recently coming from a Pioneer DDJ 1000SRT and a DDJ Rev 5. With the new Rev 7 firmware and Serato updates, the Rev 7 essentially does everything the Rev 5 does and more, and offers a lot more in hardware capabilities and functionality! The pads, fx levers, faders, and buttons all feel so much better and more solid than on the Rev 5. There is definitely an adjustment to the spinning platters coming from so many years on static jog wheels, and no Cue button, but it's so much more fun and you can quickly get used to it. The package deal is absolutely amazing! Just getting the decksaver included was enough, but to also get a power strip (could always use an extra one ), a pair of headphones (not great ones, but useful), and a laptop stand, it was completely worth it. Love this controller. I have owned and played on many controllers dating back to the original controller, the Pioneer DDJ S1, to the SX, SX2, SZ, Numark Mixtracks, Roland 505, 1000SRT, Rev 5...this feels the absolute best for my workflow, it will be a while before I feel the need to switch from the Rev 7.

Came with the pioneer DJ headphones and worked as expected; and unlike the headphones themselves it's meant for this cable is built well.

Great case with ample padding and pockets large format Laptops and DJ controllers. Well design even a spot for headphones. Just love it!

We have 4 pan tilt lights and need to use them live but not like during a programmed DJ event. We wanted a way to move the lights into place for a church play using them like spot lights on the actors. Most full-blown lighting controllers will not hold the lights in place if you switch to another (some brands of lights will park in their home position when they loose signal). These SDC12 controllers can only connect to one light at a time giving us individual and dedicated control over each light. However, you can connect more lights to one controller but all lights will do the same thing being locked onto the same address.

This case works awesome, super solid PROX case! We use these guys for our DJ controllers too and they stand up year after year. Thank you for making our life easier on the road!

The Pioneer DJ HDJ-X5 are simply excellent headphones, superior to many far more expensive. First they pickup the full spectrum of sounds with clarity and strength, from the lowest to the highest, balanced and without distortion. Also they are extremely well made, made to be durable and long lasting. They are the best I have bought in the last 50 years and I have bought many.

I'm a mobile DJ that uses 2 Pioneer CDJ 900 NXS CD players when I play music. I used thus product so that I can link the 2 players. To my surprise the music sounds full. The bass had more punch & the highs were crisp. I recommend this product. I bought another one for my computer's ethenet.

After some research I decided the ART DJ Pre ll �would be a good choice to connect a Pioneer Pl 518 turntable I recently purchased to my Marantz SR7000 AVR I bought new almost 20 years ago and some Panasonic speakers. �I have not been disappointed, I probably do not have the best ear for music, but it works for me!!
