Setting Up Studio Monitors In A Corner

I've used these in a studio setting and they are fantastic. They are a little brighter than my studio monitors, so mixing with them would be a little deceiving. Great for tracking and overdubs though. 5 |

A whole new way to shoot. In a studio setting, I cannot imagine success without tethering. 5 |

Works exactly as its mean to. Lets you use a prosumer camcorder in a studio setting. 5 |

I have the previous version of this lens (F/4). It is outstanding in resolution, even wide open. Edges get a bit soft at larger apertures, and chromatic abberations need some help, but with automatic CA correction software - not a problem. Besides, this is with the earlier verion. With minimal postprocessing you get corner to corner (well edge to edge) sharpness and contrast. Light falloff also needs some postprocessing correction so keep you iso on the low side to minimize shadow noise. I used this lens for 8 years before I discovered that the Depth of Focus (not Depth of Field) meant that I couldn't just rely on setting the focus to 5 feet and get everything nice and sharp. My copy has infinity occur at a setting on the lens scale of 1 meter. Turns out this is important for lenses with very shallow depth of focus like this one. So if you think you have a soft copy of this lens, use your Live View magnifier to check your focus. Once I discovered this it was like getting a new lens - very sharp. 5 |

I tested my Kensington Presenter by setting up my laptop about 40 feet away and around a corner — and pointing the Presenter at the floor — trying to make connections as difficult as possible. It scrolled through my slides flawlessly. This is with a MacBook Pro, running Keynote. I'm very happy with the purchase. 5 |

I ordered this desk to put in a small corner of my office for my WFH setup. It arrived in good condition and was easy to assemble. It is the perfect amount of space for two 21.5 monitors, keyboard, mouse, laptop, and some miscellaneous items on the bottom. It is not very easy to adjust with the monitors on top (also not recommended in the instructions), and I also have it almost against the wall, so I will probably not bother with adjusting it now that I have it where I want it. But overall, it's a good budget standing desk. 5 |
