I casually listen to my iTunes collection, Apple Music, and SoundCloud. Play:5 sounds wonderful: full, deep, rich sound, surprising bass, no distortion; Is reliable: music never skips or stalls. I replaced a pair of M-Audio computer speakers. Play:5 sounds better than any computer speakers and bookshelf speakers I have owned. Play:5 in white looks beautiful, especially with white shelving. I bought Play:5 in December 2015 when a 45-day return period was offered. I have no regrets. The only disappointment is in the controller software. Sonos Controller for Mac is like a music player from the early 2000s; Difficult to navigate; Awful for discovery. I wish I could play my iTunes collection from iTunes to Play:5 (without AirPlay). I lose over a decade of metadata gathered from my music habits. But, Play:5 sounds great. 5 |

I love my Play 5. I opted for the larger play 5 over the smaller play 3 for my living room and am very glad to have made that choice. I'm a bit technically challenged and set up couldn't have been easier. I was a bit worried about having to use the Sonos app over iTunes to play music, but the setup of the Sonos app is so good that I prefer it over iTunes anyway. Sound quality is fantastic, filling the room with beautiful, rich sound. My favourite songs have never sounded so good. I also use a play 3 in the adjacent kitchen which is great, but the play 5 is perfect for the bigger living room. I highly recommend the play 5. 5 |

I own two of these speakers. They are great for outdoor settings because they are portable. The sound is great and they last long enough that I can play them for many hours. 5 |

I use this system in my Den , I play my music from iTunes while I am on the computer and this system was the best choice and I reviewed them all. 5 |

I was able to play Pandora & ITunes songs from my laptop using the Bluetooth connection on the amplifier. 5 |

I auditioned several high-end wireless speakers before testing the Play:5 on a whim...it was significantly less expensive than other options and I was not sure what to expect. The audition speaker did not got back to the store. My set-up is in a fairly large lounge + dining area with high ceilings and while one Play:5 placed horizontally was enough to fill the space, two Play:5's placed vertically is stellar. The only minor quibble is that the TruePlay tuning seems to create a more crisp sound at the expense of removing nearly all bass. 5 |

We decided to go wireless and use Sonos to take away clutter and facilitate streaming and different music playback options in different rooms at the same time. We used to have an Onkyo 2 zone receiver running two amazing outdoor Bose speakers (prewired in our home) and a Bose Accousitmass 10 sorround system in our family room. To play the speakers outside we had to play the same thing in the Family room. It sounded good though. We replaced the Onkyo and indoor Bose surround with a Sonos Soundbar and we are 110% happy with that. We also bought a Sonos Amp to run the outdoor speakers. Now we can play different things in the different areas and the sound quality is phenomenal. The amp has more power and clarity than the old Onkyo receiver. I know this is a really expensive option, but for us, it was completely worth the investment! 5 |

Finding instructions for setting up the speakers to a new router was the only difficult part and connecting my play ones to a wireless connection. Other than this I have a play 5, two play 1's, beam, and boost for a surround sound which is very premium if not THE BEST speakers you can buy. I've owned products since 2016 and have not been disappointed since especially since the speakers and the app get updates! 5 |

Very happy with these Roku wireless speakers. The sound is great and the speakers can be used to play music even with the TV off. Watching shows and movies are even better now with sound through both the TV and wireless speakers. It is so much easier to hear what's going on now than when I was only hearing through the TV speakers. The voice command feature is easy to use as well and works great but wished it worked without pushing a button, like a how voice commands are activated on Siri or Google devices. Overall I am very happy with these wireless speakers and would highly recommend them to anyone with a Roku TV. 5 |
