Settings To Improve Apple Watch Battery Life

I got this to improve my WFH productivity. It has about twice the pixel count of my previous (Apple 30, 2K) monitor, and the additional space is wonderful. Brightness, sharpness and color are all good for general desktop use. It connected to my 2018 MacBook Pro without problems. I did need to use a 3rd party utility (SwitchResX) to get the resolution I wanted, and I use Stay (cordlessdog.com) to ensure all my windows return to their positions after I wake the Mac. I haven't used the PBP capability so can't comment on that, and I'm not a gamer so can't comment on response time. The stand works fine. It's not entirely clear from the manual what some of the menu settings do, but the default settings were good for me and I only tweaked some a little. 5 |

Obviously, the SS apple warch is the best smart watch on the market. If you are looking for an Apple Watch that looks and feels like a real watch - this product is for you. It took a bit of tweaking (enabling low power mode really does improve the battery life and keeps the laptop cool), but now that I've done so I can often get a day or two of using the laptop without any need to think about battery life. Keyboard and trackpad are great, performance is quite smooth for essential tasks. I think the odds are quite high that this can take care of my standard tasks for the next 5+ years. 5 |
