Shallow 10 Subwoofer

I picked up this case to replace a 6 space shallow rack and a 4 space shallow rack that I had been joining when I DJd weddings or hosted karaoke. The major concern that I wanted to address with this rack was setup time and it solved that perfectly. Not only is all my equipment located in one rack now, there's also room for all cables (especially speaker cables) so setup is a breeze. The rack rails are solid, the 10 spaces are truly 10 spaces, the overall build is sturdy while also being lightweight and the rack is attractive. I would definitely recommend this rack.

I first bought Sonos (the receiver/amplifier) at least 8-10 years ago. I have given them as gifts four times. I own the soundbar, subwoofer, three generation one Play 5's, one Play 3, two Play 1's, and the trusty amplifier. One thing I particularly like is the ability to "plug and play" with ease any where you have an electrical plug around your home: we move our family room Play 5 onto the patio for music outdoors. I also like the ease of set-up. Yesterday I took two Play 5's and two Play 1's to a friends house (he already had a sound bar and subwoofer) to send the sound of a Husker football game throughout his home for a party. In less than 10 minutes we had all four speakers up and running. Lastly, but perhaps most importantly, I love the sound quality. We have a 3200 square foot home and the speakers easily fill the house with precise sound. I get chills with certain songs because of the purity and depth. I can't wait to try my next intended purchase: two generation two Play 5's.

I have a 10 Martin Logan subwoofer attached to the bar as well. The separation of music and speech is incredible. This system sound better than any Bose system, including the ones with satellite speakers.

I use them along with the matching 10 subwoofer for my home theater and love the combo. I have it connected to my ADCOM 555si, matching pre-amp and GSP700 4-channel processor. Unreal sound the high frequency with the two tweeters is unreal. I had used a pair of Klipsch before but the speakers just didn't produce the highs I was looking for in my home theater.

My Yamaha subwoofer of 10 years stopped working so I replaced it with this Sony subwoofer. I am glad I did. The new Sony one works great.It does what it's supposed to do.

My original Yamaha subwoofer that I bought with the system went out on me after 10 years. This replacement is excellent! Rich smooth bass had a very reasonable price. Fast shipping and it was packed very well! I recommend this subwoofer if you're looking for great base at a great price!

I bought the Bose 700 complete system 3 months ago. This 10" subwoofer that is available has the most beautiful sounding base. It is a clean sounding base without the distortion that can ruin the listening experience. The sound resonates in its cabinet so the base is clearly heard without the need for it to boom to be heard. In fact, this resonance is what makes it sound so beautiful and clean. I was curious how low it would go so I tried some test frequencies at regular listening level. The cabinet begins to resonate at 26Hz so the base is noticeable from there on up. You can hear the speaker responding to the lower frequencies but they are not as noticeable until it hits 26hz and above and the sound resonates in the cabinet. I am impressed that it resonates that low and for a 10" subwoofer.

You want the Boom, you got with this subwoofer.

Shallow works in my setup. Not sure what other people are doing with this, but I use for broadcast video in a shallow depth rack case. It's perfect. I would not want this for my recording studio because it's too shallow with full rack units around it, but again it's perfect for broadcast rack case on the go.

Does what it's supposed to do -- isolate a subwoofer from floor vibrations. Subwoofer sounds better now.
