Share One Monitor With Two Computers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this monitor for work and gaming and it does it all. I use multiple computers for work and I can share one monitor with two screens. When I game, it is super immersive and I feel like I have more screen room to track quests, time, etc. This thing does it all.

PROS: This easy to install and use KVM Switch enables my two computers to share the same monitor/mouse/keyboard. I can change between the two computers by pressing the hot-key twice OR by simply pressing the button on the switch itself. It uses USB plugs, the choice all computers use today. CONS: The cute box is so small it must use 3 of its 4 sides to plug in all the cables making it take up too much space. If all cable inputs were on the same side, all wires could be strapped together enabling the unit to be more conveniently accessible.

Works great to share one VGA Display with two computers, also can share a keyboard and mouse with the two computers.

I plugged the components that I wanted to share (keyboard, mouse, and printer) and the computers to share those components (laptop & desktop) and the KVM switch worked fine.

Using this low cost 1/8 high quality splitter allows me to share the same stereo sound system (Klipsch THX plus Sub-Woofer) with two different desk top computers. The signal remains stereo on both computers.   For work reasons I need two different computers side by side to enhance and speed up my work flow.

Having both USB-C and USB -A connectors make this a much more versatile drive. Many new computers have USB-C ports but many have only USB-A. This drive makes it easy to share files form my MacBook Pro with only C ports with others who have only A ports.

i brought this to expand my home network, and i needed a gigabit switch to share folders among all of my computers... movie transfers are fast, the device is built solid! real metal and not cheap plastic..

I now have installed two of the StarTech USB to VGA adapters and both of them are working exactly as advertised! Two different computers, HP and Dell, both running Windows 7.� Installation was a snap just down load the current driver from the internet.� Instructions came with the adapters.� Connected to two different monitors (both older) again worked first time for both.� Worth the investment!� Thanks to B&H for super service and better than expected delivery time!

I purchased three UPS units. Two are for computers and one for our router and TV. The hookup was easy and fast. There have not been any power outages, so I can't comment on that. However, I do not expect any issues.
