For what it is, it works great but what makes this stand out from other external disk drives is how Asus modernized it. Not exactly a humongous feat to behold but nice that Asus took the time to do so. My last portable one used a splitter and required 2 USB A ports (one for power, one for data) but my new Asus Flow Z13 only has 1 and the rest are USB C. Enter this guy and it just works. I just added the WD 4TB Elements External Desktop Hard Disk Drive to my� back up solution (6 hard drives) and Windows 10.� I disconnected the power and USB cable from a full WD hard drive and replaced it with this new drive and fired it up. It works great, just like I would expect from Western Digital. 5 |
