I started off with an old Velbon Stratos 450 I found at Goodwill, moved on to a Vanguard Alta 263AP. Rather short for a 6' guy and not up to a real 12 Lb camera and lens. My concern was Height, Stability and Price. This fits that in spades. The head plate sets about my chin. I set it up, all legs extended full and hung from it, I weigh 195 lbs, Didn't move!! Planted a Really Right Stuff BH-55 Ball Head on it and, This has got it going on! My Second choice was the Really Right Stuff TVC-45 at over twice the price, I was having a hard time justifying the cost for a hobby. This Feisol checked all my boxes and then some. 5 |

It makes it easy to keep my lamp and a charger connected and still have room for my vacuum or anything else that comes up. It has space to charge my phone, iPad or anything else that needs a USB charger. This is perfect for our family as it frees up other outlets and we don't have cords running everywhere. Plus, I like that it's smaller than a regular power strip so it's easier to hide and it's very convenient. 5 |
