It makes the image sharper. It seems to be very high quality optically.

So small but so powerful! And it's very cool that it's waterproof, it can be used as a shower speaker!

It was time to upgrade and this camera is definitely a good choice. Much brighter image and sharper.

Use it to not only protect the Lens but it also cuts out the haze making a sharper brighter image.

Using this with 100-400mm Z lens. Can't see any image degradation. Appears sharper than when I was using teleconverters with F mount lenses on a DSLR.

I shoot with the D700. I used this filter to replace the UV filter. I should say that the results are excellent. The image is clearer and sharper. This filter does not change the colors of the image.

Bought the printer through Sharper Image but they did not have the replacement paper & ink cartridges. BUT, B&H had exactly what the device needed, it was reasonably priced and they got it to me quickly. Perfect place for any photo needs.

Great character lens wide open. Excellent stopped down if you want sharper image. Great build. Excellent ergonomics. Highly recommended for its intended purpose.

You can tell just by looking through the viewfinder that the image is sharper than the II version of this lens.  I was choosing to upgrade my Canon 16-35 f/2.8L II to either the 16-35 f/2.8L III or the 11-24 f/4.  Image quality seemed about equal (which is to say awesome) and I preferred this focal range for my purposes.

I expected to see improvement in the ISO. I did not expect the lenses to be a sharp as I have found them to be. The crispness of the image is sharper overall, but significantly sharper as you move away from the center of the image when compared with older lenses. My old 50mm 1.4 and 1.8 wont autofocus, but some of my other third-party lenses do. I have been testing the Tokina 24-70 f/2.8 and have been pleased so far. I also bought the new 50 f/1.8 S and have been shocked at how well it is performing wide open at f/1.8. You do not need to stop it down any. With improvements in the autofocus, VR, ISO, and wide-open f-stops, the new mirrorless system is a great buy if you are looking to move from an older FX body. Additionally, the grip feels like the traditional Nikon FX body. So, it doesnt feel any different. I was worried that it would feel smaller than what I was accustomed to holding.
