Shell Lake Weather Underground

I use the Peak Designs shell on a D850 and a 24-70 zoom and lightning trigger for lightning photography. I can leave it in the weather on a tripod and the camera and lens is fully protected. I also use it for storm chasing and it protects against weather plus it protects when things get rough. On the go, it's nice to have the camera ready in the car but be protected against scratches and bumps. The quality of the material and sewing is incredible. Everything in this design is nicely done! 5 |

I bought the Small shell for my Olympus OMD-EM1 mirrorless. Was quite concern about choosing the right size. Perhaps if PD adds in dimension numbers, max L x W x H, would help more. Love the material. Fortunate even with the 75x300 lens the Shell provides a good fit. Have not taken it out yet due to the vivid-19 situation, but I go on cruises couple of times a year. Have ran into wet weather situations as well as with moisture mist from water fall (Iguazu Falls). This Shell will come into use. Takes some patience to put it on/off. But not complaining. 5 |

I use these liners with the Full-Leather Shell. They perform very well and allow me to operate my cameras when the shell is in the open position. 5 |

Much better than soft shell 5 |

Great vest. I'm using it in an underground coal mine. It's like having an extra pair of hands. It distributes weight evenly. I use it for batteries, flashes, all sorts of accessories. There are no pockets for big lenses, but that's O.K. It would make the vest too heavy and cumbersome. It's pretty good at repelling lime and coal dust and water and is not likely to tear easily. Pockets are lined with soft material, which is easy on lenses. These vests are a little pricey, but worth it. They're professional gear and are made for rugged use. 5 |

So far so good! Using as a backup power supply for an underground dog fence and so far is working great. 5 |

We mostly use it to protect our lens for our camera at work, being as we drag the camera through steam tunnels, in mud trenches, inside underground vaults, and through all sorts of other environments. The filter screws on firmly to the end of the lens and protects the lens from scratches, dirt, dust, etc. without distorting any of the pictures. 5 |
