My Shimbol on-camera monitor is brand new, so I’m still testing it. The cast aluminum build is really solid and feels like pro gear, surprising in this price range. The touch screen is responsive and the image is great, with many adjustment options. Also runs fine off my camera battery’s 12v tap. Monitor arrived in a “cute” case with a loop-strap, a solid shoe mount, two HDMI cables, a plastic screen protector, a polishing cloth and a manual. No power connector, though. We’ll see how long before the shine wears off. But my first impression is thumbs-up. 5 |
