I am a very happy camper with my shiny new set of PD Anchor Links in ALL BLACK. I’ve happily used the OG black & red color way but never it really fully complemented my all black DSLR. (Yep. I’m a proud old school guy. And yes I may migrate to mirrorless someday). 5 |

It's a battery. But it's priced like a honest, hardworking battery should be. The OEM battery does have a shiny, silvery exterior (who doesn't lover silver) whereas the Watson model is black, but the silver option costs $40 compared to $13 for black. Battery styling and good looks aren't big factors for me, but if you are into shiny batteries, that's cool too. You what this battery does well? It charges and discharges, that's what. Electrons flow in, electrons flow out, push and pull. No overheating or rupturing so far, so I'm happy. Its a real, proper battery. 5 |

I've been carrying folder foamcore boards around for reflectors and gobos, though I knew about this kind of system long ago. I recently purchased this set, which meets my needs adequately, is far more compact in storage though in use it approximates the surface area I was using (I am primarily a portrait photographer) , and includes the diffusion panel. I chose this for the handles (which are pleasingly solid and well-finished) and the 3/8ths-threaded sockets on each for holding and positioning with a stand -- good for me as I often work solo, usually in natural light. The spring metal frame feels robust but is also easy to collapse. The few points I would take off from a perfect score derive from the shiny fabric used for the black side. I recognize the need for compactness, durability, etc., and I'm sure other makes of this general design use the same. However, shiny black fabric necessarily reflects a fair amount of light, despite the color, while the purpose of using black is to subtract reflected light. This disc does reduce it; I just wish a matte surface of some kind could have been found. Maybe it will in the future. 5 |

Really only use the shoot through. To remove the black cover, undue the metal covers that attach the black to the corners of the umbrella. Now the black should only be held in the center. Open the umbrella fully. Now unscrew the shiny center cover and fully remove the black cover. Replace the shiny center cover and you are ready to use it as a shoot through. Takes about a minute. Only complaint is there are no ground spikes on the stand, but for the price I can't complain 5 |

Big improvement to the Zf shutter button feel. The silver is chrome and the black is shiny, unlike the B&H/Nikon product photo that makes them look matte. However, the soft release does exactly match the buttons on the front of the Nikon Zf, which are also chrome and shiny black. 5 |

These are regular Bessey clamps just like the shiny metal ones with the red grips and tips except these are all black or as we say in the photo business; Pro Black. Great for use on a still life set or anywhere really. Why not distinguish yourself a little. Plus in addition to the fact that it's nice to not have those shiny polished metal clamps reflecting light everywhere they are impressive looking. Other photographers will be jealous for sure. Get some. Actually at this price get a bunch of them. 5 |
