Reasonably priced and strong. I fill them with pea size gravel that I get in a 50 pound bag from the hardware store for about three dollars. It goes inside a Ziplock bag, then in the saddlebag. That way there's never sand around my equipment. I have half a dozen of these bags.

With the 50 pound limit on each piece of baggage you can't afford to waste 28 pounds on the case itself. I can get my full b camera package in this case along with tripod and still weigh less that 46 pounds. So far it has helded up well and if I can get the TSA to stop throwing out my TSA approved locks I'll be a happy traveller.

The mount was easy to install and it is really sturdy. I used a 4x1.5 drop pipe. It is holding up a 50 pound JVC projector.

This monopod head does exactly what it should do. It is capable of holding a 6-pound lens securely, aided by a large diameter tension knob. The clamp can be re-positioned 90 degrees for holding either a camera body or a long lens with a foot. It weighs eleven ounces, feels solid, and is nicely machined. It is a good value in comparison to others on the market, and I see no reason to pay more. I use RRS ballheads, so that is the basis of my comparison.
