[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are a computer repair shop, and use these (or similar) Samsung Evo drives very regularly. The Magician software makes cloning old drives super easy, and almost never have to warranty Samsung's drives. I wouldn't buy any other brand for my personal devices. 5 |

I was trying to shop around a hard drive replacement for my old Samsung 256 SSD (MZ7TD256HAFV which was starting to fail) in my macbook pro (15-inch mid 2010, 8gb memory, model identifier ver 6,2). My decision to get this SSD was based on high reviews/scores and a website comparing different SSD models. The reports indicate that this is a very good product (from a read-write speed as well as price & overall-vaue standpoint). I purchased the product and had no complaints. I use a large mixing bowl, filled with filtered water. I use the microwave to warm the water, 2-3 minutes, and mix about half the powder. Repeat for the remaining powder. Let it cool over night. 5 |
