Should You Clean Wind Instruments

Should cost more. It's a nice, clean lens for the price.

I use this mic to record string and wind (brass mostly) instruments.  The different patterns make it effective in a variety of spaces depending on whether you want to reject other sounds or include reflections.  Versatile and great sound quality.

I like wind instruments. This is that and so much more. Nice features make playing sound like the real thing. Tried it all but haven't used it as a midi controller yet

5 stars as an entry level tripod. If it is something you are only going to use a few times per year then this is the tripod for you.

I live in a VERY windy area. It makes recording outside VERY difficult. I recently used this when I SHOULD NOT have been outside (Southern California high winds) and I just figured the clips were going to be useless because of the wind. But it really knocked out the wind noise (sure you can still hear it BUT you could hear me). So this coupled with a Deity V-Mic D3 worked VERY well! This was all attached to a GH5.

This device is well worth the cost! I noticed immediately, a lower noise floor, better separation of instruments, deeper, wider soundstage. Highs are clean, without glare. Mids are clean and rich. Lows have more grip and well defined. Well done iFi!

I've used this on pickups from a number of acoustic instruments: violins, mandolins, guitars, etc. It always has a clean sound and the features I need to enhance the quality (if necessary) like a ground/lift switch, impedance switch for the input (instrument/amp) and a filter switch. Plus it's passive so I don't have to worry about phantom power. I love it!

For use in my studio - Outstanding quality and very affordable. Should absolutely be in your studio for a clean and sharp background. Paper holds up under usage better than expected. I'll be purchasing a grey one soon from B&H.

The quality construction can be seen and felt right away. Can use this mouse all day with no fatigue. Should be easy to clean. Good software for customizing button functions. Highly recommended.
