Should You Set Frequency For Ram In Bios

I have been very pleased with how this board has been acting since I got it. Even working well with a set of RAM that isn't on the QVL yet. Hopefully it will be soon though. I haven't updated to bios 2004 yet so I'm unsure of what the improvements will be on that bios, but 1720 has been amazing so far! It's been easy to trust ASUS products in the past and that still rings true. Keep up the amazing work!

This is a really good memory only if your motherboard's bios has XMP support, if it does not the speed will drop to 2.133GHz. So if your PC RAM runs at 2.4GHZ and does not have XMP support, you can still use this and it works fine. But if you have a PC with RAM running at 2.66Ghz or higher and it does not have XMP support, do not use this memory

This stick of RAM works at rated speed, plug and play. No fiddling in BIOS/UEFI necessary to make it run at its marketed (JEDEC-rated) speed. This brand of RAM, including its predecessor for DDR4, were the only ones I bought to make sure the RAM works at rated speed without having to manually set XMP/EXPO profiles, which is critical for laptops that don't have those settings available for users.

This is your standard 3200 MHz DDR4 ram. It operates as expected, but be sure to check your BIOS settings to make sure it's clocked at 3200 MHz to squeeze out all the performance you can!

So far so good! Great Bios menu with full of option Lot of compatibility for new RAM and SSD Lot of fan and RGB connector 4 M2 socket at PCIE 4 X4 Everything I plugged in worked on first try and XMP3.0 worked has intended. I would recommand to anyone this board with this excellent price tag

*NOTE* Make sure to update bios as it will fix potential issues overclocking ram (in my case 32gb EXPO 6000mhz). ALSO I would recommend a thermalright contact frame as well: it's cheap, easy to install, and brought my cpu max temps down considerably. Hope this helps someone.

simple set up instructions easy bios utility's simple bios flash nice lighting I am not a computer expert but do have some experience. This board has a great feature, the LED on the mother lights up during boot to let you know if there is a hardware issue. My sons pc crashed and we had to rebuild. I replaced the mother board and still not fixed but I noticed a LED white light on and saw in manual that it was a video card failure. I replaced graphics card and it still didnt work. The light was now yellow indicating a RAM problem. I erroneously over clocked the CPU and RAM, this made it unstable then failed. Once I reset the RAM to not over clock the system worked great and the board no longer lit up. This was a great diagnostic tool that was very helpful for me a novice. Would highly recommend to anyone who is building there own system and also do not over clock until everything is working fine.

Bumped the NAS from 4 to 16GB of RAM and sure makes things run smoother. Should have done this a couple of years ago.

Easy to set-up and use. Should fit most bikes.
