Shredded Paper Considered Recycle

It really is the best matte paper all things considered.

Unlike some shredded paper that is crinkled, B&H shredded paper is non abrasive, perfect for packing fragile glass items.

Dektol is the paper developer that Ansel Adams used, and is considered the standard by most. There are others, but for ease of use and consistent results, Dektol is a good choice.

As you might imagine, vinyl is much heavier than paper, which is something that should be considered when hanging. The vinyl is prone to cling and will collect anything loose it comes in contact with the floor. Anything clinging statically is can be difficult to wipe off once rolled. The vinyl is far more durable and wrinkle resistant than paper, but it's not bulletproof by any means. I got about a half dozen uses in before scratches and wrinkles called for it to be cut down. Whereas I can usually only get a single, maybe two uses out of a paper roll. So, I'd say in my experience the additional cost vs use is pretty much an even split when compared to paper, more or less depending on how often you work with animals, children or anyone wearing heels. I would consider the key point of distinction being the texture and matte finish, the vinyl does a fantastic job soaking up light in high key lighting arrangements. To the point that I would probably keep buying this even if I had to replace / cut it every use (hence the 5 stars). It's that dark.

I'd never considered mounting my paper or fabric backdrops with magnets so when I received this kit I was delighted to see its simplicity. Pros - easy to install - magnets are large and very strong - this system is a HUGE space saver - this system comes with eight metal plates Cons - you'll need a electric screwdriver to install the plates properly If you have a small studio space like me and walls that can mount these plates this system will save a ton of space especially when compared to any mount system that uses tripods and/or stands. Ilford is considered the gold standard for a reason. My absolute favorite photo paper, and so much better then the alternatives. Ilford is also so simple to develop, and easy to use at home. I think Glossy looks best, but I have also used Matte with good results!

Hahnemuhle paper is considered some of the finest ink-jet paper on the planet. I agree. This 100% cotton rag pearl paper will reflect what you see on your computer screen. It is a beautiful, heavy weight paper that will endure and hold its color for many many years. I highly recommend all of Hahnemuhle's 100% cotton rag papers.

Like the recycle feature.

Nice to have a new one. Wish there was a way to recycle the old one.

I did something stupid and crashed the Mavic 3 Pro into a tree. It still flew but two of the props were shredded and the camera gimble was busted. With the contract, total cost to get a replacement was $159. It came in a shrink-wrapped box and looks new. If it is refurbished, you can't tell. The longest part of the process was the slow shipping to DJI in Texas with the label they provided, which took almost a week. Return service was only two days.
